With extensive knowledge of general, cosmetic and implant dentistry, Dr. Reuven Sherman is uniquely qualified to carry on the Elite Dental Group’s tradition of excellence in dentistry.
Dr. Sherman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yeshiva University with a B.A. in Psychology. His passion for dentistry, lead him to Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He completed his residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York where he was able to treat a diverse population of patients with a variety of dental conditions. He has performed extensive cosmetic procedures and thoroughly studied the science of implant restorative techniques.
Dr. Sherman has also participated in the “Give Kids a Smile” program, which is a local dental education program for public school children in grades K-5. As a natural educator, he tutors and mentors many pre-dental students from all around the Northeast.
Since dentistry is a rapidly evolving field, Dr. Sherman continuously strives to educate himself and expand his dental knowledge base. He is known for his caring and compassionate attitude as well as his refreshing sense of humor, making dental visits with him an all-around positive experience.
Dr. Sherman is a member of the American Dental Association as well as an active member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. He is currently trained in Basic Life Support, as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support by the American Heart Association. Dr. Sherman currently lives in Englewood, NJ, with his wife Mollie, who works as an Occupational Therapist.
