About Dr. Tamar Shiller
Dr. Tamar Shiller grew up in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio and moved to New York City to pursue her career in dentistry. She graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, completed one year of general practice residency, and an additional year as a chief resident at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. Over the course of her training, she has gained skills in restorative dentistry, emergency care, full mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic procedures, extractions, bone grafting, laser surgery, root canal treatment, and implants.
As a dentist, her ultimate goal is to provide exceptional, personalized care to her patients while ensuring their comfort and well-being. She is dedicated to learning the latest advancements in dentistry and continuously improving her skills. It is her privilege and honor to serve the dental needs of her patients and contribute to their overall health and happiness.
Outside of dentistry, she has a few passions that bring balance to her life including art, cooking, staying active, and traveling.

I had a great experience at this practice with Dr. Shiller their new dentist. She was very kind and patient with me. She was very thorough on her exam and even checked for oral cancer which I’d never had a dentist check for me before. She went tooth by tooth and created an awesome game plan for me that I could clearly understand. Her bedside manner is 10/10.
Would highly recommend booking here if looking for a good dentist in NYC.

Dr. Shiller was one of the best dentists I have gone to. Her demeanor was professional ,and explained my procedure very thoroughly. She made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions. During my procedure she made me feel calm. I was very happy with the results and would definitely continue going to this practice.

I recently had a fantastic experience at my dentist's office. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The dentist, Dr. Shiller and her assistant Lisa, we’re not only highly skilled but also very patient and understanding, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly.
The office was clean and modern, making me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. They also used the latest technology, which made the procedures efficient and less painful.
Overall, I highly recommend this dentist's office to anyone in need of dental care. They made what can be a daunting experience into a pleasant one, and I'll definitely be returning for my future dental needs.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shiller and the staff at this office. I am always nervous when visiting the dentist but I am glad I found this place. I didn't have to wait to be seen, I got a full mouth work up, and Dr. Shiller went over my x-rays and findings with me in a way that I could understand. Her approach was gentle yet thorough and I left feeling better about my teeth. The office has very modern and high tech equipment which made me feel like I was getting the best possible dental care out there.

There was a garage to park in right across the street which made it very easy to drive. The office was very clean and the staff was very friendly. They saw me right away and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Shiller maximized our visit. She was amazing. She cleaned my teeth, filled 2 cavities, repaired a tooth of mine and more. I can’t wait to continue my routine visits with her.
