Dr. Khan has been providing outstanding orthodontic care since 1992. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as his postdoctoral specialty certificate in orthodontics from Columbia University.
During his orthodontic training, Dr. Khan had the distinct honor of having Prof. M.L. Moss, the former dean of Columbia Dental School and a leading authority on craniofacial growth and development, as his research mentor. To stay up to date on the latest advancements in orthodontics, Dr. Khan maintains active membership in numerous prestigious professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeast Society of Orthodontists, the New York State Dental Association, and the Nassau County Dental Society. Dr. Khan has also been inducted into Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society.
Outside the office, Dr. Khan enjoys traveling, playing tennis, running, cycling, photography, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Azita, also an orthodontist, met while attending Columbia University. Married in 1989, they now have three sons.
