A Word about Insurance.
In keeping with our practice philosophy, Dr. Cohen has limited his insurance plan participation. Dr. Cohen does however participate in the Cigna Mount Sinai Health Systems Network as a preferred provider. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement, and request treatment approvals as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.
Dr. Samuel Cohen graduated from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in 1974 and received many awards for his proficiency in multiple disciplines. After completing a residency, he served as an instructor at Columbia in the department of Restorative Dentistry while starting private practice.
Dr. Cohen, with over 40 years of clinical experience and extensive post graduate training, offers services in most areas of dentistry with a focus in adult complex esthetic and functional restoration.
Dr. Cohen has been a member of the Board of Directors of The New York County Dental Society, served as a member of the Peer Review Committee, and has served as President of the Midtown Dental Society.

Dr. Cohen has been our family dentist for over 25+ years. Dr. Cohen is pleasant, professional, competent and an experienced dentist. My family and I never ever considered changing to another doctor. Dr. Cohen is an excellent doctor around his accurate diagnosis and treatment, which I may add, has been always with successful treatment solutions. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone who is in search for an excellent dentist.
