Dr. Sejndi Rusi is a Bay Ridge native. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the prestigious New York University - College of Dentistry. During her training at NYU, Dr. Rusi received numerous awards and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, graduating third in her class.
Dr. Rusi continued her post-doctoral training at NYU, specializing in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. In addition to her rigorous training, Dr. Rusi served as Chief Resident and was awarded for outstanding service to her class. Dr. Rusi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, board certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Rusi is a clinical instructor at NewYork Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where she teaches dental residents about periodontal surgery and implants.
Dr. Rusi prides herself on comprehensive patient care and minimally invasive surgical techniques. She believes it is imperative to ensure that her patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental treatment.
In her free time, Dr. Rusi enjoys baking, spending time with her family, continuing her childhood passion for dance, and traveling to new places around the world with her husband.
