About Dr. Eugenie Lee
Dr. Lee is a board-certified periodontist with training in the most modern dental implant and regenerative hard and soft tissue techniques. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, formerly known as the University of Medicine and Dentistry - New Jersey Dental School, in 2008, graduating with honors and earning the Dental Implant Student Award. She then completed a three-year postgraduate residency program in Periodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore, earning a certificate in Periodontics in 2011. Dr. Lee maintains a private practice in Nutley and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the New Jersey Dental School.
Her research includes a systematic review on the frequency of furcation closure with regenerative treatments of Grade II furcation invasion in mandibular molars. Additionally, she was involved in periodontal research at UMDNJ during dental school, focusing on aggressive periodontitis and its virulence factors.
Dr. Lee is trained in treatment planning and full-mouth rehabilitation and is actively involved in computer-guided implant dentistry. She has presented at the Northeast Implant Symposium on soft tissue coverage around implants using acellular dermal matrix. Committed to expanding her periodontal expertise through continuing education, she strives to provide individualized, comprehensive periodontal and implant treatment for every patient.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

I’ve been here a total of three times and honestly I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else. The front desk staff are sweet and welcoming while the dentist themselves are professional yet warm and friendly.
The office itself is clean, modern and nicely decorated. I brought my friend in for support and she is now one of their new patients :)

She seemed a bit cold and disconnected from the get go. I went there for a periodontal surgery evaluation but she was more keen on selling me a much more expensive laser alternative, even after i made it clear that i was only interested in the traditional periodontal surgery. Her coordinator seemed sweet and upbeat until i insisted on the traditional perio surgery...at which point she switched to being dismissive and uninterested. I am a physician myself and felt like i was dealing with a bunch of labile sales people.

Such a lovely staff and great experience with Dr. Lee. The office is also very nice, clean and modern. I did have to full out all the new patient forms in person despite having completed them on zocdoc, though. Overall, a great experience and I will be going back.
