About Dr. Michael (Hyonchol) Lee

Dr. Michael Lee is one of a handful of dual specialists in the nation trained to provide both the surgical and restorative aspects of dental treatment. With his expertise and guidance, you can develop a comprehensive dental plan and make informed, confident decisions. This unique qualification allows Dr. Lee to create a seamless transition between different phases of treatment, giving patients the comfort of having one doctor to address all their needs.
Dr. Lee earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University. He completed residencies in General Dentistry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center, Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis at the University of Pennsylvania, and Dental Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is a board-certified periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Lee is also a member of the prestigious ITI Study Club in NYC, comprised of the city's top specialists, and currently serves on the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Interview Committee.
In his past life, Dr. Lee was a thrill seeker. He has gone skydiving, bungee jumping, canyoning, ziplining, and on safari to Tanzania. He also enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and playing golf.

Everyone here is so friendly, and it's always a positive experience. I can get anxious about dental exams but the technician is always patient and thorough, and it's a good experience overall. And the dentist always has time to explain things and chat through any concerns, which I appreciate.

Hygienist Mariel is amazing! She’s so easy to talk to and does a great job explaining what she’s doing. Shes extremely thorough with cleaning and procedures. I really enjoy appointments with her and feel like she genuinely cares about her work.

It was awesome! Highly recommended! World class service and friendliness. I have super sensitive teeth due to excessive grinding and brushing and the cleaning was made pain free!
Also, provided some very good advice about sensitivity, using Sensodyne and MI paste for my sensitive teeth.

cleaning was thorough and efficient!
i wasn’t seen by dr. lee, but instead dr. edwards, which i was confused by, but didn’t mind.
I was able to email back and forth with Jessica, one of the front desk receptionists, and she was amazing. really helpful throughout all my scheduling and explaining details i was confused or curious about.
will definitely return for my regular cleanings and fillings!

I chose Dr. Lee because of his consistent high reviews, but I was disappointed with my visit. He was my second consultation so I understood I would have to have an extensive amount of work done, I just really wanted a second opinion before moving forward with anything. Dr Lee explained two options for the work I would need and I asked what were the costs involved. He said he would work up a plan of action and get back to me with what the costs would be. I have yet to hear from him or his office. I wont draw any assumptions but I will definitely not recommend him.
