About Sharde Harvey, DDS. FICOI. MS-
Dr. Sharde Harvey has been practicing General Dentistry and Implantology since 2004. She is trained in full mouth cosmetic rehabilitation. She is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, and spent her last year at NYUCD in the Honors Esthetics program doing full mouth veneer cases, similar to those seen on television programs such as Extreme Makeover. After dental school, she attended a rigorous One Year Residency Program at Long Island College Hospital.
After residency, Dr.Harvey finished a two-year post-graduate program Implant Surgery and Prosthetics at NYU. After that, she finished a one year program at NYU in Full Mouth Reconstruction.
She is also certified in Invisalign, both Levels 1 and 2. She has most recently been seen on Eyewitness News in a special program on technology and cavity detection using laser and has been in the press 11 times this year!
Dr.Harvey is also certified in Botox administration useful in treatment of TMJ (Temperomandibular Joint Disorder) and Headaches and treats Obstructive Sleep Apnea into her practice, allowing patients the alternative of wearing an oral repositioning device as opposed to a cpap device.
Dr. Harvey is currently in the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, Lenox Hill Hospital and is a clinical instructor on Faculty in the Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care at New York University College of Dentistry.
