Dr. Shelby Denman was born and raised in Tampa, Florida with his twin brother, Chad. He graduated in 2001 from the University of Florida with a Food Science and Human Nutrition Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Nutritional Sciences and a minor in Zoology. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree in 2006 from Boston University. Dr. Shelby Denman practiced in Tampa, Florida from 2006 to 2008 with Dental Health Group as a family and cosmetic dentist. There he completed many full mouth rehabilitations as well as cosmetic makeovers including thousand of crowns, bridgework, and veneers. In 2008, Dr. Shelby Denman moved to Austin, Texas to help his brother open a practice with the Smile Center Dental. They worked together until opening Family Tree Dental Group in 2011. While working in Texas he completed many pediatric cases, extractions, and conscious sedations. Dr. Shelby Denman currently holds certifications in Invisalign and Clear Correct for treatment with invisible or clear braces as well as many CE courses in pediatric care and conscious sedation. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society, and other professional dental organizations. Dr. Shelby Denman enjoys working out and playing tennis in local leagues and at US Tennis Association tournaments.
