I work for the University of Texas and have one of the basic dental insurance policies, which limits my accessibility to preferred dentists. I'm fairly new to Austin and was having a difficult time locating a decent doctor who accepted my insurance plan. I'm very particular about my dental experiences and refuse to allow just anyone to treat me (bad experiences are the culprit). I did a bit of research, read many reviews, and stumbled across Dr. Indrakanti's office. She was rated well above 4.0 on a number of platforms and I thought I'd give it a shot. I was extremely pleased! Upon checking in, the front desk attendant greeted me courteously, professionally, and even chit chatted a bit. There was an electric massage chair in the waiting room, though I didn't have much time to enjoy it as they called me back within 5 minutes! My cleaning went extremely well - the dental hygienist explained every step of the process, what she was doing, and gave me tips on how to prevent issues in the future (all as she was cleaning my teeth). Dr. Indrakanti was personable, professional, and asked me (a number of times) if I understood everything and if I had any questions. I also spoke with the young woman who handles the office's finances/billing procedures so that she could explain/itemize the procedures of my visit and ensure that I was clear on what would be submitted to my insurance company. It was a great, small office with impressive attention to detail. If you're looking for a small familial office, I'd absolutely recommend Dr. Indrakanti and her team. Thanks, ladies!
