From the smallest of fillings to the most demanding cosmetic and aesthetic dental restorations. From a single dental implant to a full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Cohen will try to solve all of your dental needs and concerns.
Dr. Cohen grew up in Westfield New Jersey and attended Westfield High School in Westfield New Jersey. From there Dr. Cohen received a B.A. in History from Syracuse University. He received his dental training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry now Rutgers University where he received his D.M.D. . After graduating, Dr. Cohen completed a Fellowship in Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, University Hospital.
Dr. Cohen then joined the Bayonne Dental Group in Bayonne New Jersey, where he has been practicing for the past 17 years. During his first two years of practice Dr. Cohen received a Fellowship in implant dentistry from the New Jersey Implant Institute. Dr. Cohen continued his education by completing the necessary pre-requisites to obtain a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Cohen then went on to complete his certification to become an Invisalign preferred provider. Currently
Dr. Cohen is an associate clinical professor at Rutgers Dental School.
Dr. Cohen is the father of 3 young ladies and has been married for the past 17 years to his wife Katie. His new office in Livingston New Jersey is just another step in trying to deliver the highest quality dentistry to whomever may need or desire his help.
Dr. Cohen has prided himself on being available to his patients whether it be a simple filling or a painful emergency. He has always advocated that no one should have to deal with pain and be in discomfort.

Teeth cleaning/scaling was super light duty, sadly. Tar visible to the eye still. I had to finish the tar scaling on my own when I got home since the professional work was done poorly. Cleaning is done by the Doc on first visit. Will use Hygienist on next visit. Hope its better. Else will find another place.

I had a great visit with Dr. Cohen. I was only there for a simple cleaning but he was still very thorough and explained everything during the appointment. He asked during the cleaning if I was having any pain (I didn't) to make sure I was comfortable. Very personable and easy to talk to. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

First time at the dentist in some years and first time with Dr. Cohen. All of the staff was super helpful and made me feel so comfortable from start to finish. Everyone was all smiles. The interaction with the staff at the check in, x-ray, cleaning and check out was excellent. Dr. Cohen was excellent, he took the time to explain everything and had a realistic plan for how to complete my dental work. I am not a fan of the dentist but because of my experience here I will definitely go back to this location. You can tell they care about there patients.

Dr. Cohen is the best MD overall from what I have witnessed! He speaks to you before working on your mouth and helps you to better understand your situation. Which in turn helps the patient to decide what works best for them. He is efficient staff is amazing. He's very hands on AND HE CARES. I wish every MD was like him!!!!! Please take my advice and you wil never look back ! I have family members that are Dentist and still haven't received as much attention and amazing treatment as Dr.Cohen has given me.
