I had searched low and high for a specialist all over NYC that was trustworthy and most importantly, could take care of infection that was growing from a previously root canal done at a different dentist.
I found 209 NYC Dental and it’s honestly the best thing that has happened for the health of my mouth. I came to doctor Lipner and was then sent to Dr. Wang within the same office, because of needing an implant. Both doctors are helpful, caring and most importantly, great doctors, you can tell they’re passionate about what they do!
I had a tooth extracted and it was painless. I will continue to go back to this office again and again.

Was pleasantly surprised with the care at this office. They got me in early the same day for an emergency root canal. I have been to over ten dentists and they are by far the best. Dr was very kind gentle and gave me updates throughout to ensure my comfortably. Bc I don’t have ins they gave me amazing prices that made the experience seamless and easy. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.

Doctor Lipner is wonderful. I booked him because I thought I am going to have a root canal and I saw reviews online that he is an expert. However, after a thorough check he recommend me not do the root canal. He immediately introduce me to another great dentist in the same office with him and comfort me that he is awesome, and if anything is needs in the future he would know.
I would recommend him to anyone.

After having a horrific root canal experience with another dentist (the guy cleared out only 1 of the 2 roots and put the filling on the side of my tooth instead of in the root), I found Dr Lipner through ZocDoc and checked out his other online reviews. He took a look at my mouth, prepared me I may lose the tooth, but helped me understand what needed to be done to end the pain I was experiencing. He's just the best. He saved my tooth, corrected the root canal, and removed the filling that the other dentist put in the wrong part of my mouth. IT WAS PAINLESS! He is very profession, and just knows what to do, he's an expert. I'm going to book all my dental appointments through his office. Oh, and his front desk just rocks. They are all awesome, helpful, and it's a great environment in there. Book him.

Visited Dr. Lipner a couple of months ago. I came in on the wrong day and on top of that, right before the office closed and he was still able to accommodate me. Just came here for a 2nd opinion and he was very thorough with his explanations.

I went for a root canal for a tooth that had severe toothache. Dr Lipner did a very good job and even my dentist commented that the root canal was excellent. My pain died the same day!

Great service from the staff, aid and Doctor!
Emailed about emergency root canal and responded right away during a holiday weekend! Was able to come in the next business day without any issues! The staff called me the very first thing in the morning to confirm my appointment and verified my cost, insurance and procedures before my appointment (which I requested )
Doctor explained everything thoroughly and gave me all my options! It was painless and effortless! I am used to root canals but for those of you who worry.... There is absolutely no need!!

Dr. Lipner had the best bedside manner of any dentist/doctor I have ever seen. I went in for an emergency root canal for a tooth that was very painful and infected. He walked me through the process, reassured me it would be painless and communicated with me throughout the entire procedure, explaining what he was doing and what I would feel. The front desk was helpful and polite and the facilities were beautiful. Will absolutely be back and could not recommend more.

I had a root canal done last week and I recommend Dr. Lipner.
I was nervous at beginning but his laid back attitude eased my nerves.
The entire process was quick: it was less than one hour. Besides the first shot of anesthetics, I did not feel any pain throughout the process. He also spent time to describe the prescriptions that he gave me. I did not need to take pain killer after the procedure even though I got them.

Just had a root canal done with Dr. Lipner and I couldn't be happier with my choice. He was extremely informative, honest and efficient. I felt zero pain (honestly I had no idea what was actually being done - it was that non-invasive). The receptionists clearly explained my insurance coverage and were super nice. There's also a Duane Reade literally next door so filling my prescriptions for post-care was easy.

Frankly I'm really surprised at how pleasant getting a root canal was. the very words, "root canal" filled me with dread, but Dr. Lipner is stellar, he has a great bedside manner- empathetic without being patronizing and professional and gentle a real gift in an endodontist. His staff obviously like him which for me was very revealing. I know it sounds weird, but having a root canal was a great experience.
