Dr. Stuart A. Scott has been providing quality orthodontic care since 1992. He received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta before attending Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. Dr. Scott received numerous academic and service awards at Howard University and was voted junior class vice-president before becoming president of his senior graduating class. He then continued his post-graduate specialty training in orthodontics at Howard University and was awarded the prize for resident with the highest academic average.
He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Southern Maryland Dental Society, Hummingbird Study Club and Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Dr. Scott is married to Dr. Zavia Scott and they have two daughters, Arianna and Talia. In his spare time he enjoys travel, golf and especially coaching two little league soccer teams. Dr. Scott and his entire team are dedicated to maintaining a reputation of excellence in orthodontic care.

First consultation with Dr. Scott, went very well. My son was photographed while I was filling out the forms, and we met with the account manager right after that was done. short wait for Dr. Scott to come in. He was very pleasant and effective at explaining the diagnosis, what we could expect for the entire treatment, and what our options were. great first meeting!

This was my daughter's first appointment to see Dr. Scott. The front desk staff greeted us with a smile and greeting, the waiting room was pleasant. All the staff we encountered had great customer service. Dr. Scott was detailed and explained what needed to be done and for how long. Great visit!

This was our initial appointment to consider whether we needed braces. The doctor and the staff were all friendly professional, and explained the details in language that we understood. The only reason we definitely would not recommend, is due to the nature of determining whether or not someone needs braces and the general high ( but appropriate )cost of getting braces.
