Dr. Walter E. Odisho was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) from Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2009. After working in private practice, he decided to continue his education completing a four-year specialty program at Boston University School of Dental Medicine and received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Prosthodontics (C.A.G.S) and Master of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D.).
This specialty training is rigorous, and truly prepares you in a wide range of complex problems within the oral cavity providing the skills needed to address issues ranging from complete oral rehabilitations to highly meticulous aesthetic treatments.
Dr. Odisho served as Chief Resident and was awarded the “David J. Baraban Award” presented to the resident who best exemplifies excellences in character and clinical proficiency by the Department of Restorative. Sciences and Biomaterials, Division of Postdoctoral Prosthodontics at Boston University.
During his years in BU he developed a special interest in the area of Implantology and Digital Dentistry completing a one year specialty program in Implant Periodontal Prosthodontics at University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he also had the privilege to teach.
Dr. Odisho adheres to the highest of ethical standards and quality of care for all his patients, making his priority to be attentive to their concerns and goals.
He is thankful and excited to be able to change lives and smiles for the Northern Virginia and D.C. community.
