About Dr. Talya Chait
Dr. Talya Chait aims to build long term and trusting relationships with her patients, with a goal of making all of her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.
Dr. Chait remained at U of M for dental school and the completion of her DDS degree. From there, Dr. Chait continued on to pursue advanced training in a general practice residency at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Dr. Chait is trained in all areas of general dentistry, but holds a particular passion for cosmetic dentistry - veneers, crown and bridge, and implant placement and restoration.

so far it looks ok. although i was not seen by the provider i booked for, the other dentists and assistants who took care of me were good and communicative. Fron desk was great to welcome me and assist me with schedules etc.

Super friendly and smooth. Just a great experience. Apparently they were understaffed when I went—didn’t even notice because it was so seamless! No wait. Very communicative and patient. Highly recommend Dr. Chait and her wonderful team!

Dr.Chait has excellent bedside manners. She includes you with the decision-making after giving you options. She listens and tries to incorporate your desires with what may be more practical. She lessens the fear of dental visits. I highly recommend this physician and her practice.

Very professional yet friendly and welcoming environment. Your needed treatments are clearly discussed. You don’t feel pressured into doing unnecessary procedures. All costs are visible, clearly detailed and reasonable.
Dr Talya Chait , she is very professional, knowledgeable, gentle and thoughtful.
She respects and treats her staff well.
She has a great sense of humor, if nothing else it relaxes you and showcases her confidence and character.
The Dental Assistant Kaia is knowledgeable respectfully and thoughtful. They make a great team.
The overall staff makes you want to got to the dentist without fear and look forward to your next visit.

Dr. Chait is Phenomenal, she is hands on and attentive and makes patients feel comfortable at every stage of the appointment. She answers questions and is very knowledgeable on just about everything the practice has to offer. I had a great experience at Ivory Dental and with Dr. Chait.

Dr. Chait was so knowledgeable and patient. I did a plasma resurfacing treatment, and she did such a great job walking me through the process, expected results, and care to take afterwards. Dr. Chait is beyond professional and personable, cares about her patients, and I will always be coming back to this practice just for her!!

This was the best dentist visit I have ever had. The facility is great, the technology here is top-notch, and all of the people are wonderful. I cannot recommend Dr. Chait enough.

I had a wonderful experience visiting Ivory Dental. The experience from start to finish was very pleasant and the staff did a great job making me feel comfortable and provided a very relaxing environment. Dr. Chait was very knowledge and explained everything in a manner that was very easy to understand, and was very reassuring. I really enjoyed my experience!

There was an issue with receiving the new patient forms before arriving, and I had to wait quite a while in the waiting room for my initial and follow-up appointments, but the actual dental experience was seamless and Talya Chait was great at explaining everything.

Long wait time. Too busy or understaffed to do the service (cleaning) that I waited nearly an hour for so they told me to reschedule. Did not see the dentist I was scheduled for.

For many years, I have longed to see a dentist who would not casually insinuate that my dental woes are evidence of moral ineptitude. Dr. Chait was wonderful exception, going so far as to make me feel like more than the sum of 24 porous, enameled constituents.

I always dreaded going to the dentist even though I knew it is a necessary evil. There's so many health issues if you deny dental care that can happen to you. Upon coming in the office it just put my mind to ease, because the office was amazing.. The furniture. The office décor. The snacks even down to a expresso machine . The staff was so friendly which made me not afraid at all. When it was time to raise my mouth before I got my services, done they wanted me to rinse my mouth out in this beautiful sink with marble pebbles and I felt bad.. The doctor was amazing. She listened to my fears and she calmed down by anxieties.. She gave me so many options that would work best for my teeth and my budget. After being told that I had to get deep cleaning and cavities to filled my anxiety's kicked in once again. I knew I had to get stabbed as I call it. She was patient. She was gentle. And I even got free cheek massages and I did not really feel the shot whatsoever. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER ??????

Dr. Chait was really friendly and I felt she made a lot of effort. The cleaning was done really well. She took the time to explain any "watch out"'s concerning my teeth. The staff were all friendly and were careful and diligent in their work. Dr. Chait seems very sincere and I look forward to going back there! The office is very professional, they give you recommendations for Invisalign etc as needed, but don't force / pressure you. It was a really comfortable, clean, nice, visit! Thank you

Talya was great and so was her staff. I always have a lot of questions and they were all happy to answer everything I wanted to know more about. I came in after an 11 hiatus from the dentist… Talya had her work cut out and gladly filled all my cavities and made me feel very comfortable. Wonderful experience. If you’re looking for a dentist in the DC area, Talya is the best!
