Dr. Fudgen has practiced dentistry in the Bay Area for over 35 years. An alumnus of the University of California School of Dentistry at San Francisco, Dr. Fudgen graduated with honors.
While in dental school, he was elected to Who's who among students in American Colleges and Universities, and is a life member of OKU--a national dental honor society in which membership is based soley on scholastic achievement while in dental school.
Dr. Fudgen has been elected to Who's who in California, past member of the California Board of Dental Examiners, San Francisco Dental Society Board of Directors, San Francisco Easter Seal Society Board of Directors.
He is currently a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Alameda County Dental Society.
Past sponsor of five Babe Ruth Little League teams, Dr. Fudgen is well known in the Bay Area for his caring nature, sensitivity, professionalism and excellence in dental care.

I was a little hesitate going to a dentist in Oakland. I lived in this city for more than 15 years and I love Oakland, but I was not sure about the businesses in Oakland because, unfortunately, I have fed into what the media has portrayed this city and community to be.I saw great reviews on ZocDoc about Dr. Fudgen. and I decided to go take a visit. I'm glad I went. I had the best dentist experience and will continue to see him as my regular dentist. I recommend him to any and everybody. The office is clean, friendly staff and he takes the time to understand your visit and provides solutions.

Having just moved to the Bay Area, I was in need of a new dentist. Dr. Fudgen is by far the best dentist I've ever visited. His level of care was spot on (I needed two cavities filled). The doctor is quite personable, and also thoroughly explained the entire process from x-rays, to a tooth by tooth check. He was pretty straight forward and insightful when it came to treatment and daily maintenance. He even had a member of his staff call to check up on me to see how I was doing a day after my I had my cavities filled. His staff is superb as well and the office is as clean as can be. They also have a recommendation program if you refer a friend. Both you and the friend get a discount on treatment for the referral. Truly can't say enough good things about Dr. Fudgen. I'll be back in six months for another cleaning.

He was a great dentist. I have seen many over the years and he was very nice and gentle. Most of my experience getting novocaine shots hurt and the dentist seems like they're jabbing me with the needle. He was very gentle and was quick.

It had been a long time since I saw a dentist and have a lot of dental work to do. I also had some immediate concerns. Dr. Fudgen was kind, professional and made me feel at ease. His staff was also warm and professional and I really felt taken care of. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
