Dr. Farid was truly any patients delight! I scheduled a dental cleaning the day of and was a bit nervous as I had not previously had dental insurance so it had been a little while since my last cleaning. Dr. Farid was extremely friendly, professional and kind. She was gentle with my soft gums and gave a thorough check of my entire mouth before I left. I also had many questions about Invisaline treatments for my shifted smile post braces. Dr. Farid was knowledgeable and very assuring that my smile would be noticeably different before my wedding in a year. What a relief! I am genuinely happy with my choice to go with Dr. Farid and excited to have found my dentist for all future dental needs!

Dr. Yasmin Farid was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois Chicago. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Farid was awarded the Golden Scaler Award, Smith Barney Mercantile Scholarship, and Academy of General Dentistry Senior Award. Her years of academia have shaped the person and clinician that she is today. She is passionate about learning and expanding her knowledge of dentistry at every opportunity.
As a dentist, Dr. Farid emphasizes open communication with her patients in order to make them comfortable and happy throughout the appointment. She is dedicated to teaching her patients everything they need to know about the treatment in order for everyone to be on the same page. Her personal mission includes developing trust, providing good communication, and presenting the best treatment possible for the patients on a daily basis. Nothing makes Dr. Farid happier than seeing a patient leave the visit with a smile on their face.
Dr. Farid is an active member of the Illinois State Dental Society, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Hispanic Dental Association. She values continuing education courses and has focused much of this education on esthetics to improve patients' smile. Dr. Farid is now working toward her fellowship through the Academy of General Dentistry.

All the staff were friendly and nice. They had quick service, very helpful, and helped me understand all of what is going on. And on top of being knowledgeable and professional, she's also incredibly attractive. It made the "you have a bunch of cavities and need to brush more" a little better to listen too. It's like, I want to brush and floss more to make her proud.
