About Dr. Jessica Mehta
Dr. Jessica Mehta grew up in the suburbs but, after many years, has declared her right to call the city of Chicago home.
Dr. Mehta attended dental school at Marquette University, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, after admission through a competitive pre-dental scholars program, one of only a few nationwide.
?I decided to pursue dentistry in high school. I took an after-school job as an assistant and was inspired immediately. I had always been drawn to things that involved creativity and design.?
Frequently attending continuing education classes and staying current on the newest dental literature, Dr. Mehta ensures she stays on the cutting edge of what is happening in dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Mehta currently resides in Chicago with her Cavapoochon pup. She has a nostalgia for weekends on the Northside exploring the Devon neighborhood, Grant Park in the Jordan era, and annual shopping trips to Marshall Field's.
She enjoys walking home on the Riverwalk, game shows, word puzzles, and is serious about her food and wine.

What a complete waste of my time. I recently was on the market for a new Dentist and found Chicago Loop Dentistry was conveniently close by my new place with pretty good reviews. I booked an appointment a week ago and the office called me 1 hour before my appointment to tell me that they needed to reschedule my appointment due to an emergency. I totally understood and we rescheduled for a week after. I filled out my new patient forms and fully expected to have an annual checkup complete with new x-rays and a cleaning. I get into the office and while the receptionist was nice, Kylie who took my x-rays had terrible patient side manner. She did not let me know that today there wouldn't be a cleaning when I specifically told her when she asked me what brought me in today that I was here for my annual checkup/cleaning and also for a referral on my wisdom teeth. That would have been a perfect time for her to say the dental hygienist wasn't in today. While, Dr. Jessica was nice and shared info about the wisdom teeth procedure, again there was another opportunity for her to let me know that I wouldn't have a cleaning done today. The receptionist then asked me when I wanted to come in to get my cleaning to which I had to express my disappointment that I thought I was here for a cleaning and that every other Dentist I've been to in my entire life had provided a cleaning right after the check up. She then shared that the dental hygienist wasn't available today and apparently they only have 1 dental hygienist operating the whole place. I will not be returning back here for the lack of transparency and for wasting my time during the work week.

Jessica is great, BUT the front desk staff made too many mistakes. After calling to correct that, I got treatment plan to remove 4 wisdom teeth at once, while I only have 3.

I needed to find a new dentist for me after I moved to Chicago. This place is close to my workplace and she had a convenient time for an appointment in a couple days. Jessica is very nice. She explained me everything I was interested in. She didn't impose me to purchase unnecessary services. I will schedule an appointment with Jessica for my husband too.

I was sited right away, but i was in the chair waiting for over an hour and a half, and was seen in increments after that. The doctor was good, but the whole office staff was all over the place.

Dr. Mehta was accommodating, professional and compassionate. Her office scheduled me for a same-day emergency appointment as I was in a lot of pain. Dr. Mehta determined the cause of my pain quickly and then eliminated it immediately on a short-term basis. We then discussed the long-term solution. Throughout the process, Dr. Mehta's staff was efficient and a pleasure to work with. I don't know anyone that enjoys going to the dentist, but a patient could not ask for better treatment.

Went in to her for the first time in a while, needed some fillings. She put one in, it hurt, she adjusted, it still hurt, she adjusted again, then she told me my tooth was cracked. Really regret not going to a lawyer.
Ya, my teeth weren't in great shape going in, but she probably should have thought about that before proceeding with the filling. The risks were NEVER discussed. All she did after is refer me to a colleague... YA RIGHT. STAY AWAY.

I've made 2 visits to Dr. Mehta's office and my experience so far has been really great. Procedures have been conducted painlessly and efficiently, and the staff here is so friendly and accommodating. I initially made an appointment due to some teeth pains I was experiencing and had a bit of dental anxiety before going in, but Dr. Mehta and Alicia are very professional and gentle in their conduct and were able to evaluate the state of my teeth and give me a thorough run-down of the course of action I should be taking. Will definitely be going back!
