The entire staff is excellent. They talk to you as if you are important to them. They look you in the eye when they talk to you. Every person I came into contact with during the visit was courteous and gracious. Dr. Peter Fitzgibbons is a compassionate and dedicated orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon based in Maryland. A graduate of Harvard College, Dr. Fitzgibbons received his medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He continued at Brown completing an internship in general surgery, a residency in orthopedic surgery, and a fellowship in orthopedic trauma. Dr. Fitzgibbons then returned to Harvard for a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery.
Dr. Fitzgibbons performs a wide variety of advanced procedures, including care for carpal tunnel and other nerve compression problems, tendonitis, sprains, arthritic conditions, trigger finger, tennis elbow, nerve injuries, torn cartilage and fractures. His consultations are consistently precise and thorough.
Dr. Fitzgibbons makes sure patients fully understand, not only their diagnosis, but also the risks and benefits of various treatment options, so that together patient and physician arrive at the optimal treatment plan that best suits each patient’s individual needs.
