Patient reviews for Dr. Peter Fitzgibbons
Very professional and extremely informative.
Peter is very professional, knowledgeable and straightforward. He recognized the problem immediately (it was not what I suspected) and was able to mitigate the symptoms with a minimum of fuss. I would definitely return for any related problems.
Doctor explained everything well. Very nice doctor.
Doctor was patient to hear all my concerns with a smile ??
The visit was great. Great people, very professional and friendly.
Zocdoc completely screwed up the appointment location, they kept insisting on the last day that I'm in Germantown when the appointment was in fact in Bethesda. Then there was the nasty surprise of paid parking, and then the doctor said a separate specialist sees ankle problems. None of this was made clear in advance.
Excellent, as usual!
very professional and thorough. love that he took the time to explain suspected diagnoses and what steps would occur for each option including possible outcomes. will be coming here again for sure.
Dr. Fitzgibbons provided a thorough explanation of the type of injury as well as his recommendations for the distal radius fracture repair. He encouraged me to reach out to him at any time with any questions or concerns before the surgery date.
Dr. Fitzgibbons listened to my concerns, made sure that I understood my condition, and provided clear details for what the next steps in managing my symptoms are. I am confident in the level of service that I will receive from him.
He was excellent!
He is very nice and knowledgeable. He sat down with me explained things and asked if I had questions. Super recommend!
Receptionist in the Germantown office was very helpful and accomodating. She was able to find me an earlier apointment time.
Great Dr. , took time to ask appropriate questions, listened, not arrogant, very professional.
Amazing practice. Excellent care!!
I went his office with a trigger finger. He discussed all possible options for my treatment and gave me a corticosteroid shot in the office. This usually a painful shot but he made sure that my pain was minimal. Very professional doctor, highly recommended.
Personnel very professional and the service was excellent!!!
Very helpful, offered a number of options and explaining pros and cons.
He is very friendly and can quickly diagnose and suggest treatments options. I would say overall his way is to the point and yet he would listen to you. It was worth driving for more than an hour each way. Staff was very friendly too.
Dr. Fitgibbon's medical assistant took a very thorough history as if she were interviewing a relative. She dr,onstrated genuine interest even though this is probably very routine for her. She made sure all the information was ready for the doctor. He had a basic idea of the issues and then explained the exam, disease process, and treatment plan thoroughly and answered questions with patience.
Excellent doctor, nice style, very communicative and understanding of sports injuries.
This physician-surgeon is miles better than the incompetent and unprofessional one referred to by the urgent care. It was a very pleasant and efficient visit!
He is really nice and answer my questions clear
Great ! A little wait longer than usual but great and was very explainable about my problem
Dr.Fitzgibbons has a terrific bedside manner and gave sound treatment advice regarding my son’s injury. I would recommend his practice to anyone in need of orthopedic care.

Very pleased. Easy, stress free. Doctor and staff very pleasant and efficient.
I appreciated Dr. Fitzgibbons informative session, where I learned of my injury and recovery. Feeling non-rushed. Would highly recommend. Also note he was my 2nd opinion, and was WAY better than 1st doctor I saw.

He was wonderful with our 13-year-old daughter who broke her toe; made her feel really comfortable and explained everything in detail to her. Very friendly very professional, highly recommend.

I really like Dr. Fitzgibbons and this practice. He explained my diagnosis and my options, and let me ask questions....
I felt completely at ease with Dr. Fitzgibbons. He answered my questions and devised a reasonable course of treatment.
He was the best
I really appreciate how clearly he explained my diagnosis. Many doctors seem surprised or irritated when I ask a lot of questions -- not Dr. Fitzgibbons. He also told me what to expect going forward and what might happen. Why can't all doctors be so straightforward? It was a great appointment.
Dr. Fitzgibbons was excellent. He came into the room fairly quickly. He was open and receptive to my story and what had caused my injury/pain. He touched my leg, knee & foot during his diagnosis and did some initial stretches to ensure there was no real injury and/or a need for an e-ray. He suggested a little physical therapy and slow down on re-entry to exercise.
Professional, knowledgeable, personal, helpful.
What a nice guy! Friendly, took the time to explain possible issues and treatments. If you are having arm, hand, shoulder, elbow issues go see him!
Very courteous and professional.
He is very professional, very informative and tuned to his patients. He answered all my questions, was polite and nice. Took the time and didn't rush to rnd the appointment as happens with some Drs.
This was a repeat visit for us, for two separate issues with two different family members. We knew right away we wanted to go back to Dr. Fitzgibbons. He is knowledgeable and explains everything clearly and in detail. Gotta love going to the doctor, getting expert treatment, and learning something at the same time!
He's a very knowledgeable and personable physician.
Dr. Fitzgibbons is very professional and diagnosed my problem right away. His recommended treatment was 100% successful.
Ended up getting a second consult. He was very nice but I know something is up with my back he barely took a look at x ray results. Only recommended PT and nothing else while I was dying in pain. Went to see someone else. But office staff was awesome.
