Dr. Soroudi is a board-certified, sub-specialty trained ophthalmologist who is one of a very rare breed of eye surgeons who specialize in all aspects of vision corrective surgery (Corneal- and Lens-based), as well as Eyelid Plastic Surgery (Upper & lower eyelid Blepharoplasty). Having personally performed thousands of complicated eye & eyelid operations, Dr. Soroudi is one of the most experienced and meticulous eye surgeons in the country, and having founded his own eye “hospital” in the city of Huntington Park, he has gained extensive experience to treat ocular conditions that often lead to complete blindness.
Dr. Soroudi obtained extensive surgical training at the LA County Hospital in East Los Angeles as a surgery intern, and completed his residency and served as chief resident in Ophthalmology at the LA County Hospital in South Central Los Angeles under the supervision of internationally recognized eye surgeons from the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute. Here, he had the opportunity to gain tremendous experience in performing some of the most challenging eye surgical operations seen anywhere in the world involving every sub-specialty in Ophthalmology: Advanced Cataract Surgery, Pterygium Surgery & Ocular Reconstruction, Corneal Surgery, Retinal Surgery, Glaucoma Surgery, and a great deal of eye trauma and Oculoplastic Surgery. Here, he was chosen as the hospital's resident of the year 2 years in a row, and to this day, some of his patients from his residency days continue to come to his private offices for their eyecare.

I sincerely enjoyed this appointment! The office is beautiful and had a lovely seating area (complete with great music, coffee, tea and cookies). The staff was exceedingly friendly and attentive and Dr. Soroudi was thorough, informative, and incredibly friendly. It was one of the nicest Dr.'s appointments I've ever had. I highly recommend him as your new opthamologist.

Everything is fine with respect to vision examination by Doctor Soroudi, but it comes with a lots of wait, but i am ok with the wait time.

Really enjoyed Dr. Soroudi and he had a lovely office with a good location, etc. However, the receptionists seemed to have many difficulties processing my paperwork, insurance, etc. I waited a long time after my appointment for them to process my rx and confirm my insurance. She told me I could leave only to call me 10 minutes later (after I was already on my way to work) because she forgot to collect my copay. I had to go all the way back to pay the $10. Wish they had been more put together so my 20 minute appointment didn't take nearly 2 hours! Will probably go back again though because of the convenience to my workplace.

This is to inform anyone who is looking for an excellent eye Dr. with the most outstanding office staff in LA. I had two surgeries- one on each eye and I must say that it was been the most pleasent experience. From the front office to the administrator and the Dr. himself you are welcome & taken care of like royalty. My vision has been restored from legally blind to 20/20 and I recmmd. Dr Soroudi to anyone who seeks an excellent eye care!
