“I had an amazing experience here. I went to a different urgent care 1 week ago for light sensitivity, eye pain, and vision loss. They (incorrectly) told me I have pink eye, and they gave me some drops but it kept getting worse over the next week. I went to another urgent care, and they said the same thing, but I kept getting worse!
Finally, I went to Cohenmehr Optometry. Dr. K was amazing. He diagnosed me in less than a minute with a high grade Uveitis, (NOT PINK EYE). He prescribed steroid drops and kept me in his office for an hour while the pharmacy was getting my medication ready, and he added a "loading dose" of drops in office. Every 5 minutes he had staff check up on me and add drops to both of my eyes. By the time I left I felt 90% better. I continued with the drops a few times per day for the next week and recovered 100%. He then sent me to a rheumatologist to help find the root cause and it turns out I am ANA Positive, which I am continuing to investigate. ”

One of the most thorough eye exams I have ever gotten. The doctor (Dr. K) was amazing. The front desk staff was equally excellent in working with me. I did not have vision insurance, and they worked with me to cover a large portion of the cost by using my medical insurance. All I had to pay was the refraction cost and copay rather than their full fee. I have always had to pay full price for my vision exams because I don't have a vision plan and I truly appreciate their office being able to leverage my medical insurance benefits to help with the cost.

I went to Dr. Cohenmehr for a glasses and contact lens exam after moving to Los Angeles. I was nervous because my parents both have glaucoma, so I was worried for myself. Dr. Cohenmehr took that seriously and did a very thorough eye exam. He ended up diagnosing glaucoma and I am actually relieved, because now I finally have answers and a plan instead of just anxiety.
The whole team is amazing. Everyone is professional, and makes you feel taken care of. Kat was especially incredible helping me with my glasses. She took her time, helped me pick the right frames, and made the whole glasses experience so much easier. I usually dread anything involving glasses decisions, but she made it feel simple and fun.
I also have keratoconus and I was seen by Dr. Brandon, their keratoconus specialist, for a specialty lens fitting. He was just as thorough and patient, and the scleral lens fitting process was way more detailed than I expected in a good way. My vision and comfort are so much better.

I went to Dr. Kevin Cohenmehr in Los Angeles for chronic dry eye and it was the first time I felt like someone truly understood what was going on. I had been searching for a dry eye specialist in Los Angeles and I am so glad I found him. He did a very detailed dry eye evaluation and dry eye workup, explained the cause of my symptoms, and created a treatment plan that actually made a real difference.
Dr. Kevin Cohenmehr is a careful, thoughtful optometrist who takes his time and answers questions without rushing you. The eye exam felt more thorough than any eye doctor visit I have had before. He also helped me understand my options for a contact lens exam and a glasses exam, which was great because I needed both updated contacts and a glasses prescription.
If you are looking for an optometrist, especially for dry eye, this office is the place to go. Highly recommend Dr. Kevin Cohenmehr, OD for anyone who wants a thorough eye exam, a real dry eye plan, and a doctor who listens.

What a breath of fresh air! The provider was very professional and knowledgeable. My issue was diagnosed and treated properly. I look forward to my next visit. Also, there is this amazing patisserie right across the street, and their stuff is to die for!

Really amazing. First time I feel great with my scleral lens fit. I have Keratoconus and have just accepted with other docs that my eyes are difficult to fit. I'm really impressed.

Was playing tennis and I swung the ball right into my eye. I was in so much pain and couldn't open my eye or see out of it. Went to the ER and they told me to go to an eye doc. One of the nurses recommended for me to go here. So happy I came. They gave me a contact to sleep with as a Band-Aid, and drops, and followed up for the next few weeks until I completely healed. 5 stars.
