First visit and was seen for a check up and my experience with Dr. K and his staff was awesome. I’m still quite young so I don’t need to go back for a couple of years but as long as he doesn’t retire between now and then I will totally go back! Clean, friendly and professional- what more could you ask for?

Since first moving to Los Angeles from New York City, Dr, Khodabakhsh has built one of the largest and most successful ophthalmic practices, with offices in Beverly Hills and Torrance. From the Moment patients walk through the door, they encounter a friendly staff with the most up to date diagnostic equipment. Dr. Khodabakhsh prides himself on spending time with patients to understand their needs and make them feel comfortable. A typical initial consultation will take 45 minutes so that all the patients problems are taken into consideration and then the safest, and most reliable procedures are chosen to meet the patients needs.
To extend his patients comforts, Dr. Khodabakhsh is credentialed at Specialty Surgical Center, 90210 Surgery Center, Ceders Sinai Medical Center, UCLA, Surgery Center of the South Bay, and Torrance Memorial Hospital. Patients can select the facility where they are most comfortable and closest to their home or work.
It is more than just personalized care; however, that has made Dr. Khodabkhsh one of the most sought after ophthalmologists in Southern California. His exceptional training and extensive experience have made him a true pioneer. He has performed thousands of eye surgeries and is widely known for his successful visual outcomes, especially in challenging cases. After completing his residency at NY Medical College, Dr. Khodabakhsh joined the faculty and became a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology. He is board certified in ophthalmology and specializes in small incision cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgery. He currently lectures nationally and internationally on anterior segment disease and surgery. He has trained dozens of doctors in the techniques of small incision cataract surgery and glaucoma. He also has numerous publications in major ophthalmic journals including Ophthalmology, American Journal of Ophthalmology, and Cornea. He is presently working on a book that deals with the complications of cataract surgery.

I can't speak more highly about Dr. Khodabakhsh! Virtually no wait time. His assistant was fantastic - she was very thorough and competent, as well as friendly and attentive.
Dr. K is one of my all-time fave MDs. He is an excellent listener, and always empathetic to whatever ailment is afflicting me. He makes a point to offer all solutions, emphasizing the ones which are the best bang for your buck. His schedule is always packed, but he somehow never makes you feel rushed. On top of that, he has an incredible personality - I never leave without a laugh. I highly recommend Dr. Khodabakhsh!!
