Dr. Parikh was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Parikh is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and he specializes in treating adults and adolescents (13+) with psychiatric illness (e.g. ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, etc). Dr. Parikh is an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, Department of Psychiatry. He regularly presents lectures to medical students and supervises psychiatry residents. Dr. Parikh is also a full-time staff psychiatrist at the Dallas VA Medical Center where he treats our returning soldiers and veterans. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented research findings at national conferences.
