Dr. Nowakowski graduated from the William Beaumont Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program in Royal Oak Michigan. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University. During her residency, she was awarded a certificate of excellence in obstetrics from the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, as well as recognition of excellence in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She participated in the Cesarean Section Review Committee at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Dr. Nowakowski has a passion for women’s health, a special clinical interest in diet and nutrition, and surgical interest in endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery. She feels all aspects of life impact a woman’s obstetrical and gynecologic health and emphasizes comprehensive, compassionate care.

Now don't get me wrong, the doctor herself was amazing, professional, clear, and very kind. The blonde lady at the front desk was the complete opposite. She actually rolled her eyes at me when I told her I had booked an emergency appointment at 7 weeks due to a threatened miscarriage because "The ER always says that and it doesn't matter." (meanwhile I was told at that appointment that I was probably miscarrying, so it looks like it does matter after all). Told another lady who said she has some trouble getting the phone answered "Did you not see me just pick up the phone?!" And seemed angry that her office uses ZocDoc and acted like I was at fault for getting an appointment using it. She was one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful front desk people I have ever interacted with. If she was gone it would have been 5 stars all around. Can't wait to probably get more attitude from her at my next appointment for writing this review.

Dr. Nowakowski made me feel seen and she made sure to provide a plan of care to help with the issues I’ve been going through for over a year. She never tried to make me feel crazy or tell me that nothing was wrong with me which I am absolutely grateful for.
