Following many years as a multi-sport athlete, Abby entered her first nutrition class in college wanting to learn more about how to improve her athletic performance. With over 12 years of clinical nutrition experience she is able to support a variety of nutrition-related conditions or concerns.
For the past five years, Abby has spent her time in the outpatient clinic and virtual settings providing weight neutral diabetes care and education. She believes in the food as medicine approach and developing a healthy relationship with food. Her mission is empower people to take charge of their health and ditch dieting for good.
Abby graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from Minnesota State University, Mankato and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Delaware. She has been a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist since 2019. She is currently working on her Intuitive Eating Counselor Certification
