She went on to complete her dietetic internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and has been a Clinical Dietitian at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Since then she has built up extensive experience counseling clients of all ages privately and through The New York City Early Intervention Program. In her spare time, Allison volunteers with various charitable and non-profit organizations promoting wellness. Specialties: Allison specializes in weight loss and weight management for adults, as well as family and pediatric wellness. Affiliations: Allison is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; Greater New York State Dietetic Association; Dietitians in Business and Communications; Pediatric Nutrition; Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition; Weight Management; and Women’s Health Dietetic Practice Groups. Personal Interests: Allison brings her lifelong love of food and cooking to her practice. She was drawn to the kitchen as a child and never looked back. Allison is constantly adding to her personal cookbook and keeping up with the latest trends in diet, health, cooking and eating. She instills in her clients and family that healthy food can be satisfying, and taste great, and that you do not need to deprive yourself of the foods you enjoy.
