Dr. Winter is extremely patient, giving a very non-rushed and thorough appointment. He is attentive to all your questions and addresses all your concerns. In addition, his office has updated equipment and a cooperative office staff.

Abraham T.Winter is a respectful and compassionate ophthalmologist located in Elmhurst, NY. He received his medical degree from Tulane University. He completed residencies at New York University and the Brooklyn V.A. Hospital.
His office offers a full Opticianry service with a large selection of frames. An experienced, Licensed Optician is on the premises at all times.
Dr. Winter provides comprehensive eye care. He is involved with the diagnosis and treatment of visual problems including external diseases, glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. He also treats patients with illnesses that affect vision, such as diabetes and Sjogren’s syndrome. Dr. Winter ensures that he and his staff remain current, with the latest eye care technology and knowledge. He and his staff are dedicated to personalized attention and thorough evaluations.
During his career, Dr. Winter served as a full Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and spent time with the Marine Corps in Okinawa, Japan.
