“Dr. Whigman is an exceptional Ophthalmologist. He is vastly skilled and thorough in his examination. He took extra time to dilate my eyes as I'm a Diabetic, his office has the latest in-depth diagnostics. He truly cares for his patients. I highly recommend him and his entire office staff as they were pleasant, the consummate professionals. I was beyond impressed and have made him my permanent eye doctor. I will be seeing him in 4 months for a follow-up appointment.

Dr. Benjamin Whigham is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing in New York, NY who specializes in glaucoma management. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Davidson College in North Carolina, Dr. Whigham earned his Doctor of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC, where he was class representative for the Davison Honor Council and a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient.
Dr. Whigham completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he received the Richard C. Troutman Award for Academic Excellence in Ophthalmology. He then completed a Glaucoma Fellowship at Columbia University in New York, NY. Dr. Whigham is a co-author of numerous peer-reviewed articles, reviews and published editorials in medical journals.
