Dr. Breunig examined my mother for a glaucoma consultation (2nd opinion). He was incredibly thorough & kind to her as he reviewed all her previous history & medical records. After our visit, we had extreme confidence in him & decided to proceed with surgery with Dr Breunig

More about Dr. Adam Breunig, MD
Dr. Breunig is very excited to join Chicago Glaucoma Consultants. He is from Madison, Wisconsin, where he completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Wisconsin. He completed a transitional residency at Gundersen Lutheran hospital (La Crosse, WI) and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis), where he was involved in volunteer activities with the Lions Eye Foundation and free eye screenings for athletes at the Minnesota Special Olympics. He also completed a research project studying vision loss after trabeculectomy in patients with advanced glaucoma. Dr. Breunig then completed a glaucoma fellowship at Northwestern University. He presented a research poster comparing two surgical techniques at the American Glaucoma Society annual meeting in 2013.
Dr. Breunig focuses on cataracts, glaucoma, and comprehensive ophthalmology. He will be taking care of patients at the Glenview, Evanston, and Rush offices, and will serve as a consultant at Midwest Eye Professionals in Orland Park.

Had a wonderful experience with Dr Breunig. I was told I had a cataract @ my local eye glasses shop and was referred to him for an exam. He had all of the state of the art technology and reviewed all of the different lens options for surgery. Was told I do not need surgery in the near future but was given materials to educate myself on procedure
