I’m extremely disappointed with the LifeStance Health platform and customer service, though I must say Dr. Fray is amazing. Despite my issues with the platform, Dr. Fray’s support and expertise have been invaluable. Unfortunately, the platform itself makes accessing care far too difficult. I’ve missed multiple sessions simply because I don’t receive the session link on time, which should be a basic expectation for a telehealth provider.
Each session, I’m required to update my information, with no option to skip—even when nothing has changed. It’s repetitive and frustrating. Worse yet, there’s no way to directly access sessions through the portal. I’ve tried reaching out to customer service multiple times, but they have been completely unhelpful and seem unable to resolve even basic issues.
While Dr. Fray is a fantastic provider, LifeStance’s platform and service have consistently fallen short, making necessary care a hassle instead of a convenience. I hope they improve, but as it stands, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for reliable support.

"I aim to establish a warm, collaborative relationship with patients, providing evidence-based support and intervention in a manner that is understandable, helpful and compassionate.
While diagnosis and medication treatment is often an early focus, in my experience much of the meaningful work is based on getting to know a person, and from there confronting discomforts and engaging therapeutically within a safe environment. It is a privilege to provide this care, and I defend confidentiality as paramount. I encourage mindful self-compassion and forgiveness as a therapeutic approach to alleviating many depressive and anxious problems. I hold a core belief that much of mental and emotional suffering stems from isolation. I particularly enjoy helping address social anxiety and navigating the challenges of relationship intimacy. Working with the person as a whole, I actively support the maintenance of personal interests, sense of vocational accomplishment, physical fitness, comfort with body image, healthy diet and sleep. Medical illness and disability is fully appreciated and factored into treatment.
Prior to joining Lifestance, I had the pleasure of providing outpatient clinical care to the students of UC Berkeley and UC San Francisco for ten years. I have also worked in inpatient, emergency, and correctional (jail) settings, as well as private practice. I have experience treating depression, bipolar, anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive, attention-deficit, sleep, substance, eating, post-traumatic and psychotic illness. I earned my Medical Degree from Jefferson Medical College, in Philadelphia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. I was born and raised in southeast Pennsylvania and migrated to the west coast after medical school. After interning at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, I completed my psychiatry residency at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco in 2008 and enjoy living in the Bay Area."
