Getting to know Jasmine Maniti

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals facing a wide range of psychiatric challenges. With over six years of nursing experience, including extensive work in emergency and acute care settings, I bring a unique perspective to mental health treatment that emphasizes both clinical excellence and genuine human connection. My practice focuses on comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and personalized treatment planning for conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mood and behavioral disorders. I believe in taking the time to truly understand each patient's individual circumstances, symptoms, and goals, recognizing that effective mental health care requires treating the whole person, not just their diagnosis. I am trained in advanced treatment modalities for treatment-resistant depression, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine) therapy, which allows me to offer hope and options to patients who have not found relief with traditional treatments. My background in emergency nursing has equipped me with strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations, ensuring that patients receive expert care during their most vulnerable moments. I provide care through both telehealth and in-person visits, making mental health treatment accessible and convenient for my patients. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey. Whether you're seeking help for the first time or have been navigating mental health challenges for years, I am here to support you with expertise, empathy, and a collaborative approach to healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my approach to medication management is grounded in meaningful therapeutic relationships and truly individualized care. Effective treatment calls for a deep understanding of the science behind medications and an equally deep understanding of the person in front of me. One without the other simply is not enough. During your first appointment, I will carefully review your current symptoms—their nature, severity, frequency, and how they are affecting your daily life. We will discuss your mental health history, including previous treatments and what has or has not worked for you. I will also cover your medical background, current medications, family psychiatric history, and your present circumstances—the stressors you are managing and the support systems you have in place. When we explore medication options, collaborative decision-making guides every conversation. I walk you through the possibilities, explain how each option works, review the supporting evidence, set honest expectations for progress, and address potential side effects openly. Your perspective actively shapes every decision we reach together, and my goal is for you to fully understand the reasoning behind each recommendation. My prescribing philosophy balances evidence-based standards with genuine personalization. I begin with well-supported treatments at appropriate doses, track your progress through consistent follow-ups, and make thoughtful, well-timed adjustments as needed. I also consider real-world practicalities—affordability, insurance coverage, and how easily a medication fits into your routine. Between visits, please do not hesitate to reach out if something comes up. I coordinate with your other providers when it benefits your care, because integrated treatment leads to better outcomes. You deserve a provider who stays just as invested in your progress between appointments as during the visits themselves.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I'm committed to caring for the whole person rather than treating a diagnosis alone. Mental health is never separate from the rest of life—it's woven together with physical health, the people around you, pressures at work, what you've lived through, and your everyday circumstances. Our work together might involve examining how earlier experiences inform the patterns you notice now, identifying exactly what sets off or worsens your symptoms, or developing usable tools to carry you through the toughest stretches. A setback isn't a failure—it's an opportunity to see what's helping and what needs to change. I'll mark your progress alongside you, no matter how modest it might feel, because each genuine step forward is worth recognizing. If you're navigating trauma, grief, or relationship struggles, or you need deeper psychological support than medication management can provide on its own, I'll help link you with a capable therapist whose work complements mine. I think of myself as one piece of your larger care team, not your sole source of mental health support. I root my work in evidence-based medicine while holding real respect for individual differences. What suits one person may not suit the next. I won't steer you toward a treatment that doesn't sit right with you, and I truly welcome your questions—including the doubtful or difficult ones. Cultural humility matters to me, and I understand that mental health carries different meanings across different communities. Your heritage, beliefs, values, and cultural setting weigh heavily in how we shape treatment together. My aim isn't to keep you tied to psychiatric care indefinitely—it's to guide you toward genuine stability and wellness, where you grasp your own mental health, catch early warning signs, and carry reliable tools to handle challenges yourself. In the end, I want you to feel capable and self-assured in guiding your own wellbeing, well beyond our time together.

Jazzy was very thorough and took the time to understand my needs and concerns. She is very kind.
Very easy to talk to Jazzy. I felt heard and that she gave me space to explain what I needed.
Jazzy is very understanding, clear and kind. She addressed all my needs and concerns.
Jazzy was super friendly, thorough, and empathetic. You can tell she really cares!
This is my 2nd time seeing her. I feel care her and would recommend her to others.
Jasmine is professional, smart and makes you feel heard.
Jasmine Maniti is very knowledgeable and an expert at what she does. She is also kind and is good at listening. A great asset to have in someone's corner.
Jazzy was kind, attentive, and took the time to address all of my questions and concerns. I appreciated her professionalism and willingness to listen. As a suggestion, especially during an initial visit, I would have appreciated learning a little more about Jazzy herself—such as her background, education, and overall philosophy or approach to care. I believe this would help build rapport and establish a stronger connection from the start.
Her explainations are very clear and helpful, and I thought that my ADHD diagnosis process was relatively painless. Appointments were easy and informative. I felt that she took my symptoms seriously. Her turn-around time was fast, as I was able to recieve a diagnosis and treatment over the span of about one week.
Great visit, Jasmine made me feel like she was really listened to my story and went pretty deep with the conversation. I really needed that interaction without judgment.
She is very professional and knowledgeable, always able to answer any of my questions, even though it’s through zoom I believe she has an excellent bedside manner.
Jazzy is very professional. She seems very knowledgeable about medications and their side effects. I also Appreciate her cautious approach to diagnosis and focusing and prioritizing treatments oe at a time.
Jazzy was not rude to me, but she was also very much not friendly. Just completely emotionless and indifferent. I appreciate a bit of warmth and to feel as if my mental health practitioner cares about my wellbeing. During our last session, I could see in the reflection of her glasses her looking up the answers to the questions I had online and reading me whatever the internet said. She also did not REALLY listen to my questions and didn’t give me clear answers to certain things.
Jasmine is awesome!
Jazz is amazing. She listens deeply, gives thoughtful and practical advice, and makes you feel completely supported. Every session leaves me feeling clearer and stronger. Highly recommend.
Jasmine is amazing she truly cares for her patients, cares about getting to know them, and making sure they get the help they need. She is easy to talk to and an overall amazing person.
She's fab! Extremely composed and logical and to the point. Made the most of the short time we had together, and didn't overstep my main provider given that this was a temporary session. She got to the root of the issue quickly without making any destabilizing changes.
Pay attention to details to how I was feeling and had follow up questions. Let me to understand that she was hearing me. She made a planned for me and medication intake and follow up for the next appointment overall it was a good experience for someone who was struggling to get a new doctor. Definitely made it more east and less scary as my mind thought. She also gave me directions on how to turn in ekg documents to the office and the number.
I absolutely love working with Jazmine, I actually moved practices because she did. She’s hands down the most understanding and least judgemental psychiatrist i’ve ever had. She truly listens to what i’m saying and does more than nod and agree, she challenges and asks questions that make ME think and realize. All the progress i’ve been able to make (including going back to therapy) was all because of Jazzy. Couldn’t recommend her enough.
Jasmine is a great provider. She really makes an effort to understand an individual and personalized appointment to the patient’s needs.
I’m seeing Jazzy while my main psychiatrist is gone temporarily. I have been in care with my main psychiatrist for a long time. Jazzy clearly took the time to read through all my notes, and basically knew my entire story already which really made me feel really cared for. She even knew my pets names. I was nervous about not being able to see my main psychiatrist for a while, but after my first visit with Jazzy I feel relieved.
I enjoy her logical and scientific approach to my medication. She listens to my concerns and is clearly dedicated to helping me feel better.
She was great, It was our 1st meeting so you can’t really give her a fair Evaluation , but she was very easy to talk too, very professional and polite. I feel that she will be able to meet my needs and I look forward to steady improvement. I told her you can’t go wrong with a “J “ name . ( Her credentials seemed rock solid as well)
All my concerns were met by Jasmine.
very kind and made me feel heard
Jazzy helped me navigate through a very difficult mental health emergency. She listened without judgement and explained everything clearly when it came to her recommended course of treatment. Since our initial visit, taking her recommended measures definitely helped me cope with difficult circumstances in a much healthier and stable way.
