“I’m seeing Jazzy while my main psychiatrist is gone temporarily. I have been in care with my main psychiatrist for a long time. Jazzy clearly took the time to read through all my notes, and basically knew my entire story already which really made me feel really cared for. She even knew my pets names. I was nervous about not being able to see my main psychiatrist for a while, but after my first visit with Jazzy I feel relieved. ”

Getting to know Jasmine Maniti

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals facing a wide range of psychiatric challenges. With over six years of nursing experience, including extensive work in emergency and acute care settings, I bring a unique perspective to mental health treatment that emphasizes both clinical excellence and genuine human connection. My practice focuses on comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and personalized treatment planning for conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mood and behavioral disorders. I believe in taking the time to truly understand each patient's individual circumstances, symptoms, and goals, recognizing that effective mental health care requires treating the whole person, not just their diagnosis. I am trained in advanced treatment modalities for treatment-resistant depression, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine) therapy, which allows me to offer hope and options to patients who have not found relief with traditional treatments. My background in emergency nursing has equipped me with strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations, ensuring that patients receive expert care during their most vulnerable moments. I provide care through both telehealth and in-person visits, making mental health treatment accessible and convenient for my patients. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey. Whether you're seeking help for the first time or have been navigating mental health challenges for years, I am here to support you with expertise, empathy, and a collaborative approach to healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my approach to medication management is grounded in meaningful therapeutic relationships and truly individualized care. Effective treatment requires both a deep understanding of the science behind medications and an equally deep understanding of the person in front of me. One without the other is not enough. During your first appointment, I will review your current symptoms carefully — their nature, severity, frequency, and the ways they are affecting your daily life. We will discuss your mental health history, including previous treatments and what has or has not worked for you. I will also go over your medical background, current medications, substance use, family psychiatric history, and your present circumstances — the stressors you are managing and the support systems you have in place. All of it matters. When we explore medication options, collaborative decision-making guides every conversation. I walk you through the possibilities, explain how each option works, review the supporting evidence, set honest expectations for progress, and address potential side effects openly. My goal is for you to fully understand the reasoning behind every recommendation — and your perspective actively shapes each decision we reach together. My prescribing philosophy balances evidence-based standards with genuine personalization. I typically begin with well-supported treatments at appropriate doses, track your progress through consistent follow-ups, and make thoughtful adjustments as needed. I also consider real-world practicalities — affordability, insurance coverage, and how easily a medication fits into your routine. Between visits, please do not hesitate to reach out if something comes up. I coordinate with your other healthcare providers when it benefits your care, because integrated treatment leads to better outcomes. You deserve care that is as consistent between appointments as it is during them.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe in treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Mental health doesn't exist in isolation — it's deeply connected to physical health, relationships, work stress, trauma history, and life circumstances. During our work together, we might explore how past experiences shape current patterns, identify triggers that worsen symptoms, or develop coping strategies for difficult moments. I also recognize that healing rarely follows a straight line. There will be good weeks and challenging ones. Setbacks don't mean failure — they're opportunities to learn what works and what doesn't. I'll celebrate progress with you, no matter how small, because every step forward matters. If you're navigating trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, or need more intensive support than medication management alone provides, I'll help connect you with a therapist who can complement our work. I see myself as part of your care team, not your only resource. My approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine, but I honor individual differences. What works for one person may not suit another. I'll never pressure you toward treatment you're uncomfortable with, and I welcome your questions — even skeptical ones. Building trust takes time, and I'm patient with that process. I value cultural humility and understand that mental health is viewed differently across communities. Your background, beliefs, and values matter in how we approach treatment together. I'm always learning and will listen carefully to your perspective. You will never feel judged in this space. My goal isn't to make you dependent on me indefinitely — it's to help you reach stability and wellness where you understand your mental health, recognize warning signs, and have tools to manage challenges. Some people work with me for months, others for years — it depends entirely on your needs. What remains constant is my commitment to showing up for you with expertise, empathy, and genuine respect for your journey.

I enjoy her logical and scientific approach to my medication. She listens to my concerns and is clearly dedicated to helping me feel better.
She was great, It was our 1st meeting so you can’t really give her a fair Evaluation , but she was very easy to talk too, very professional and polite. I feel that she will be able to meet my needs and I look forward to steady improvement. I told her you can’t go wrong with a “J “ name . ( Her credentials seemed rock solid as well)
All my concerns were met by Jasmine.
very kind and made me feel heard
Jazzy helped me navigate through a very difficult mental health emergency. She listened without judgement and explained everything clearly when it came to her recommended course of treatment. Since our initial visit, taking her recommended measures definitely helped me cope with difficult circumstances in a much healthier and stable way.
