I provide psychotherapy (talk therapy) and/or psychopharmacology (medication) to high functioning adults. Conditions treated in this practice include but are not limited to mood disorders, adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic illnesses, interpersonal/relationship difficulties as well as issues around trauma, grief and loss. As a new patient, Dr. Oguntoye immediately made me feel comfortable. After an "ice breaker" activity that was deftly designed to gain a better, more in-depth understanding as to some of my conditions, we dove headfirst into treatment. I feel I'm growing from this relationship. I will return.

Dr. Oguntoye is very professional, yet quite warm and easy to talk to. She is very adept at helping me sort through my emotions and draw my own conclusions rather than feeding me solutions. I know she's always listening with a careful ear because she'll often reference something I said in a previous session that helps me connect the dots in that moment. After each session I feel that progress has been made and I always look forward to the next. I highly recommend Dr. Oguntoye to anyone in search of a quality psychiatrist/therapist in the NYC Metro area. I live in New Jersey and the trip is worth it!
