Dr. Ahmed Rahman graduated with honors from his medical school in Cairo, Egypt. Immediately after, he came to the United States and set a personal goal to become one of the most highly trained physicians in his field. He completed his internship in General Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV). His efforts earned him a position as an Anesthesiology Resident at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (CCF), one of the most famous training programs in the USA.
His dedication and commitment to providing the best care to his patients led him to pursue rigorous fellowship training in a variety of specialties, including:
Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Florida
Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Florida
Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Fellowship at the University of Toronto
In order to refine his leadership skills, he enrolled in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the most prestigious universities in the USA, from which he obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
His leadership qualities supported his role as the Director of Anesthesiologists group in Bangor, Maine, for almost 10 years, followed by his move to Dallas, Texas, to become the Chief of the Anesthesiology Department for multiple years. Currently, he is devoted to practicing the most prevalent pain management techniques and providing the best quality of care for his patients at Nexus Pain Care, his clinic in Rockwall, TX.
Dr. Rahman has over 30 years of experience as a practicing physician in the field of Medicine, which allows him to provide the best care possible.
Although Dr. Rahman has expertise in many different areas of medicine and has experience of practicing medicine all over the country, he settled his practice in Texas because he loves what the state and DFW metroplex has to offer. He has an amazing patient community due to his fluency in both English and Arabic and the compassion and care he provides to all his patients..
