About Dr. Tamara Maxwell Davis
Dr. Tamara (Ta-Ma-Ra) Maxwell Davis believes that “The Power that made the body, heals the body.” As a 18-year Frisco, TX, resident, this native Chicagoan loves the Lord, people and sharing her passion for chiropractic, nutrition and holistic health. She is married 26 years to her husband, James, and the mother of 2 adult sons, a daughter and a Maltipoo, Leo. An infancy diagnosis of a heart murmur required her to take antibiotics before every dental cleaning resulting in low gut flora. Subsequent bouts with digestive issues, pneumonia, strep infections, sinusitis, cystic acne and debilitating menstrual cramps throughout her lifetime, motivated her mother to pursue alternative healing. While studying for her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Illinois-Chicago, she realized a passion for nutrition. Following graduation, her knowledge and practice for natural healing grew and was demonstrated through managing her's and her family's health challenges. Dr. Tamara earned a M.Ed. in Health Education from Wayne State University. However, realizing that her body and brain were not communicating, God lead her to the practice of Dr. Mariam McCleod, who shared the power of chiropractic. Dr. Mariam witnessed Dr. Tamara's gifts and encouraged her to attend chiropractic school. With a heart of doubt, battling a 10-year sleep disorder and now mono, in 2014, Dr. Tamara enrolled in Parker University, learned the power of our nervous systems, began healing and prepared for the upcoming pandemic. Unexpectedly, while a student, Dr. Tamara experienced a “freak” accident that only Activator Methods would restore. This 2-year setback built invaluable relationships, and experiences instrumental in overcoming all of the ailments and restoring sleep and memory. While raising a family and attending the program part-time, Dr. Tamara became a Doctor of Chiropractic in December 2019. She is honored to serve her community with God-given wisdom, knowledge and discernment.

Dr Tamara is an amazing chiropractor. She communicates very well. She provides a very detailed recommended health plan. Dr. Tamara also takes the time needed for each of her patients for their individualized care.

Dr. Maxwell-Davis has been very instrumental in my recovery from spinal and hip injuries caused by an accident. She worked with me for a year and got me from being partially paralyzed to full mobility again.
She educated me and provided great tools along the way. She is very passionate about her patients and is dedicated to seeing them healed.

I’m a true believer in her practice . When I came to her not expecting much since I had been to chiropractors before. To my amazement in two visits my issue with sciatica was diminished. I’m not a maintenance person but if I have a need that she can help me with I will use her practice.

I was recommended to Dr.Tamara after complaining about my back ache and also being diagnosed with HSV. One she makes the space comfortable for you and open to be who you need to be to get the most affective help from her. My body was all out of wack and come to find out uneven when I was laying down. Which I would have never known without going to her! She used a painless gun and align my body . It was a peaceful pain less process and I would recommend it to anybody who feels like there body isn’t align. I would recommend her to anybody who feels like your doctor isn’t really hearing your concern. I would also recommend you to her if you feel like the prescribed medication is just giving you more issues and, would like to know what natural medicine can help you ! It gave me a peace of mind and I would do it again. She also recommended me natural herbs that would help me along my journey.

Dr. Davis. Is so professional and loves her job. She takes her time and adjust spots that I have never had adjusted. She is an original. I can’t find anyone in my hometown that can compare. Whenever I come to Dallas for a visit, I make sure I get an adjustment by Dr. Davis before I leave. I love her and I feel she’s the BEST

Dr Tamara provided m with an adjustment plan specific to my needs. I've visited other Chiropractors that treated in a more generic fashion versus systematically treating my direct iissues.
