Erin Wysong-Warren, LPC

Psychotherapist
4040 N Central Expy, Ste 210, Dallas, TX
My experience includes private practice, as well as working at a well-respected poly-addiction residential treatment center. While there, I worked with a multidisciplinary team of leading experts in trauma, substance abuse and addiction, and sexual compulsion and addiction. To further my expertise in the treatment of trauma and addictions, I have been extensively trained by Pia Mellody, Senior Clinical Advisor of The Meadows, for treating family of origin developmental and relational trauma using Pia’s Post Induction Therapy model. I am trained in EMDR protocols for addiction, trauma, and dissociative identity disorder, and recently completed my training as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). I have trained with sex addiction pioneer Patrick Carnes, and earned accreditation as a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT) through the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals. I have also received 32 hours of specialized training in the Multi Dimensional Partner Trauma Model in order to better serve partners of sex addicts and couples who are in their healing process. My licensure includes Texas Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I previously served as Treasurer on the Board of the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals, Dallas Chapter (TAAP). I am currently serving on the Board of the Twelfth Step Ministry at the Benton Center for Spiritual Development. A native Texan, I grew up in Dallas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from the McCombs School of Business. This led to a career in investment banking and commercial real estate, that eventually led me back to Dallas to join my family’s custom home building business as Chief Financial and Operations Officers.
