Dr. Teame has extensive experience in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Tropical Medicine and Travel Medicine. He has worked overseas for over a decade providing care to a diverse patient population with a wide spectrum of pathologies. In addition to providing quality healthcare services to local patients, he has also served as a consultant physician for the US Embassy, employees of CDC, USAID, UN and other international organizations in Ethiopia. His extensive experience has made him earn enormous respect and trust from his patients. He is now seeing patients at this new location.
Dr. Teame believes prevention is the best medicine and conducts his care with that principle in mind. He encourages his patients to have annual wellness, screening for underling infections and appropriate cancer screening as well as appropriate nutritional assessment by an expert. This approach has served his patients well over the years and bad outcomes have been averted because of the aggressive screening strategy put in place. Dr. Teame strongly believes that good medical care is provided through a long-term partnership nurtured by listening, understanding, empathy and honesty. He also encourages appropriated engagement of loved ones to optimize adherence to treatment. It is a norm not an exception to see all family members being cared for by Dr. Teame, which gives his practice that old-fashioned personalized medical care coupled with evidence-based medicine and technology.

After suffering from lyme disease symptoms for 3 months, I was referred to see a specialist. Dr. Teame asked if I googled my symptoms and then started feeling them, and was dismissive when I shared my concerns. He ended the appointment without answering my questions to the point where I had to follow him into the hallway to ask questions in sight of other staff and patients. I am very disappointed and will continue my search for a caring and skilled doctor.

Never going to this Dr Again, false advertising, they do not do Covid tests ended up paying a double co pay. They ended up referring me to a location that doesn’t even do covid tests then told me to just go to cvs and do a home kit test??? Lol Oh and the double co pay, One for “consultation” from my original appointment with me the other for the test from another doctor in the same floor. Completely ridiculous, not honest, not economical and waste of time. Im from Texas and the healthcare system is way way different.

This doctors office is amazing! Best experience. I was there to get tested for Covid-19. Unfortunately, I tested positive. The doctor never treated me different and he made me laugh and feel welcome! Highly recommend!

Nice office, chairs spaced apart. I was greeted immediately upon entering the office by staff. I was given forms to complete and asked for my ID and insurance card. Dr. Teame was professional and had good bedside manners. His interest was getting to the bottom of what my complaint was that brought me to the office. There is parking on the premises.

So far, so great! Lots of parking! It's also really convenient that the Lab is across that hallway and the imagine studio is 3 floors up, so if any testing needed to be done (like in my case bloodwork, urine samples, X-ray) it was done right away.
He was extremely thorough, listened to my concerned and an overall nice guy!!

I quite like the office cleanliness/team who works there but I have only one bad experience; I called many times but I have no idea what’s the problem with their phone! I’ve been waiting for 5 days, going 3 times to CVS and they always tell me your doctor still did not respond to authorize my medication! I was quite happy to him as my PCP but after this experience I don’t think so!

I was in Dr. Akeza's clinic because I had severe neck pain and other health problems. He diagnosed my problem in a very professional way and prescribed very good medications which solved my neck pain and other health problems. I highly recommend my friends and others to visit his clinic to get his highly professsional and most advanced services.
