I'm going to rate based on 5 criteria:
1) Timeliness - ZERO STARS - I arrived about twenty minutes prior to my appointment (12:00 PM) and did not see the doctor until 1:15 PM. Office staff brought me into the examination room approximately 1:00 PM. I think that Dr. Lasser either needs to book appointments with longer set times or take on a partner. (PLAN TO WAIT AT LEAST 1 HOUR TO SEE THE DOCTOR!)
2) Office Staff - ZERO STARS - The office staff were not friendly, had no idea how to access my ZocDoc forms (which I filled out in advance!) and were generally not very pleasant. They openly fought with multiple patients about billing, which I thought was in poor taste. If finances, insurance and medical conditions (such as cancer) are being discussed, there should be some privacy afforded to the patient.
3) Doctor's Bedside Manner - +1 - Dr. Lasser is a peach! Probably the best bedside manner of any dermatologist I have ever seen. Despite the long wait, I would still recommend him. He is both kind and down to earth. Not overly didactic, but also tells you what you need to know.
4) Doctor's Knowledge in Area of Practice - +1 - Dr. Lasser has been practicing for a LONG time and it shows. He knows his stuff and his thorough approach is obvious. I loved speaking with him and appreciated his thoughtfulness.
5) Billing - +1 - As of now, I had no issues. I do wish they had been able to access my insurance information via ZocDoc. (If you're reading this, PLEASE learn to access the ZocDoc documents, as it makes appointments run much more smoothly!)

I am seeing Dr. Lasser for many years and I hope he is not going to discontinue his practice. He is the best skin doctor I know. He is excellent. Also, he has a very pleasant way of relating to patients.

Our office staff is comfortable treating patients of all ages, from the very young to the most senior.
