Dr. Finger received his Bachelor of Science at Union College, majoring in Biology. He then went on to receive his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Finger completed his internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at New York University and Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan.
During his training, Dr. Finger served as one of the team physicians for the New York Mets. He was also one of the physicians for the Alvin Ailey dance company in Manhattan. He was inducted into the national medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha.
Dr. Finger is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Finger is highly trained in all aspects of orthopedics including joint replacements, sports medicine, foot and ankle problems, and trauma. He has had special training in minimally invasive joint replacements and also focuses on non-operative treatment for hip and knee arthritis.

Feel sorry for this gentleman who became a doctor but didn't learn how to connect with a patient, show compassion, answer questions to the point and spend more than 3 minutes with the patient before moving onto the next patient. Definitely will not return to him, he looks depressing and treats patients with indifference.

I was very satisfied. Doctor and physicians assistant were very knowledgeable. . They looked over and reviewed my daughters xrays from the hospital before they came into the room to examine her. I will definetely recommend them to others.

My second appointment at the office. Experience was as the first. No wait time. Took me before my scheduled appointment time. Everything you need is right on premises X-ray MRI etc and physical therapy is just a few doors away. Left the office and went directly over to physical therapy and they already had all my paperwork. Nothing to fill out. That's a plus in my book. Very organized. Great experience.

Took me on time. Dr Finger has a great bedside manner I was very comfortable. Everything is done on premises. X-rays physical therapy etc. that's a big plus in my book. Received a shot in my shoulder. So far so good. If not second option will be physical therapy. Again available at the same location.. Very pleased with the efficiency of the staff and ease and swiftness of getting the initial appointment.. Thank you

I was very satisfied with the service by all staff I had contact with. Everyone was friendly and they really listened to me and what I had to say. Even the x-ray technician was very considerate and made me very comfortable. They took time to learn of my aliments and focused care to get me back on track with a healing plan that included physical therapy with people they trust and work with!

First visits take time. There is paper work involved. Once that was done, I was called in minutes. I will be returning for follow up services; however based on the interaction with the administrative staff, who were highly professional; knowledgeable; gracious; including the medical team who performed various tests, etc. I with say without question it doubt that his clinic is on the ball. Dr. Finger was excellent.He greeted me at the examining room door and,after evaluation,determined that I needed to have my knee drained. I really liked that the office took x-rays of the knee prior to the examination..I'm sure that it saved a little time and guesswork. I was very glad to be able to book so quickly and easily and would recommend him to anyone in need of orthopedic care.
