He was very patient and informative. Didn't rush me and took his time explaining everything step by step. Would highly recommend him.
Dr Lee is fantastic - he walked through all the options and I felt very informed. Front desk staff was a different story. You will wait a VERY LONG time and they will forget the things that they were going to do for you.
Great doctor. No other way to put it. Very inquisitive, doesn't rush you at all, and always gives you the spectrum of options, and explains the pro's cons of each. In addition, the office staff at NY Orthopedics are absolutely wonderful. All of them are so friendly and professional, which is a marked difference from most medical offices. They are just a great practice through and through.
Always concerned about my symptoms
Everyone in the office, including Dr. Lee, was very professional and nice. I wish they would mute the TV in the waiting room, however.
Dr lee was concerned about my medical condition like always and is helping me get better
Really knowledgeable and to the point. Great explanations.
professional, courteous, and friendly; nothing lacking
After my visit to Dr.Lee I feel like a bio object on a conveyer - few minutes talk selling me a surgery, one eye look, no explanation of my options and possible risks of the surgery, no recommendations about treatment. Just refer me to PT and his assistent to schedule the surgery. I felt like a vallet, not a patient who the doctor cared about. Later when I tried to get more info about this surgery - I called to the office sveral times, left message, e-mailed the doctor and his assistent my questions, - there was no reply whatsoever. Not recommend this doctor!
Informative and professional
Treated me as an intelligent person and explained everything very very clearly . Very warm and caring .
Dr. Lee is great as his PA and office! I was able to make an appointment on very short notice and was seen right away upon arriving at the facility. Dr. Lee is very personable and interested in his patients and took the time to listen to the issue that I was experiencing and he shared his thinking and reasoning about the potential problem. Very collaborative. A great overall experience. Highly recommended.
Good visit. Competent doctor who explains one's medical problem well. Gave a referral for nerve testing and script for splint.
Dr. Lee is great, and answered all my questions. He was very pleasant, and clear about the steps to take. His administrative office however is a bit unorganized. I already pre-filled paperwork, and they still asked me to complete it again in person. The billing department was even worst. I paid directly using my health spending account (HSA) from my job, and I had to follow up 4 times myself with the office manager. It took almost 1 month even with my persistence. This to me is completely unacceptable. I also work in health care, and I have to say the poor administration made me think twice about booking another appointment. It is a shame because Dr. Lee is an amazing doctor.
I've had a great experience with Dr. Lee and his entire staff. I sought his help when I suspected a sports injury, but he quickly identified an underlying problem in my bone structure. His quick diagnosis was followed by a surgery, which was extremely well executed and has laid the groundwork for fast recovery.
He is a great doctor.
The doctor and PA were great. However the front desk seems a bit unorganized. It took a while to check me in and just give the initial paperwork, which I had hoped they could have mentioned I could do on my own at home to expedite the process. I was not given the notice of privacy practice and as a healthcare professional this is an important requirement. Moreover, when I requested clarification about billing (based on pre-paperwork given to me) the front desk response was contradictory to the document they require you to sign off on. My other concern was that I had to follow up for my results, which were given a week later. As a healthcare professional who works in Radiology, results for a scan done on one body part should not take a week to provide back to a patient. Lastly, every time I have called the office (to book my initial and follow up appointment, for results, to clarify billing) no one ever picked up; attempts to speak with office staff result in being on hold for more than 15 minutes, at which point you are thankful at least for zocdoc to book the appointment yourself. On a positive note, the patient portal is very helpful and responses are given usually by the next day.
Excellent quality of care. Far superior treatment that complete resolved an issue that many other physicians had failed to properly treat during the previous 6 years.
Dr. Lee was able to pinpoint my problem with my knee and told me which activities not to do to avoid aggravating it further.
Great always is
Excellent doctor, as always.
He explained everything very well including potential treatment options. Would def recommend.
LOVE! Clearly a big deal doctor who knows his stuff. I never got the call back re MRI. I got a brace. It's all professional and friendly and my copay was just 55 for ALL this. I will go back for my ankle. Top notch
Dr. Lee is great, as is the staff, but the initial wait was far too long.
Awesome. Entire staff polite, focused, and professional.
Very professional. Wait was due to traffic. Was seen ASAP upon arriving.
Dr. Lee is astute and efficient. He quickly diagnosed my condition and gave me a prescription for physical therapy.
He's the best!!! Doesn't go for surgery first and he cares amazing Doctor
dr lee and his p.a. Are excellent answer all my questions and are very concerned about my wellness.
I would recommend Dr. Lee without reservation. The office staff, PA and technicians approached their positions with a high degree of professionalism. Dr. Lee was thorough, explained my options and took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. An enjoyable appointment under the circumstances.
Professional. Extremely knowledgeable, honest and helpful
Couldn't be better I highly recommend Dr. Steven J. Lee
Great as always
Was not attentive at all. Did not even know what leg to examine. Spent 3 minutes with me after over an hour long wait. His receptionists were the kindest and best part of the visit!
Great gets to the point and was very concerned about my wellbeing
Well versed in subject matter.
As always excellent
Dr. Lee was professional, courteous and pleasant. He took time to explain my condition. Support staff were excellent too.

Dr. Lee is very knowledgeable and professional.
great bedside manner, extremely efficient, well staffed office. 10/10
Great got to the point and told me my needs!!
Very efficient doctor as well as office.
I liked Dr. Lee a lot, when I finally saw him.... the wait was excessive though at just over an hour. Still, I trust him and I'll come back for my follow up
After waiting for a long time, he showed up and the consult lasted for 3 minutes, I guess. He obviously was in a rush and I feel that I didn't have the chance to talk to him about all my concerns. I understand he might be a great doctor but maybe my case isn't interesting enough for him. Staff is great. Clinic is clean.
He was great - it was my first appointment with him, and he was very personable and knowledgable.
Dr. Lee has been been my orthopedic surgeon for the past 8 years. Our first encounter was with my wrist cysts ... then I fell and broke my right arm. Four surgeries later I am still in love with the workmanship and compassion shown me. I also had excellent physical therapy.
This doctor is very busy and doesn't spend an adequate amount of time with his patients in my option. The office is clean and staff are professional.
Quick and professional
The wait time was long. I waited 1 hr. It was very busy and crowded with patients. But once I was called, the doctor was nice and I was treated well.
