Alice Hwang is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who received specialty training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Originally from Los Angeles, Alice has traveled from coast to coast, pursuing higher education. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Pathophysiology, and then received her second bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Columbia University in New York City. After working for a few years as an RN in neurosurgery and med/surg, Alice received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland. Alice has always had a passion for aesthetics and the science behind it. From performing medical surgeries, to delivering lasers such as BBL and Clear and Brilliant, and Botox injections, Alice truly cares for her patients and strives to exceed their expectations while following evidence-based medicine. She loves assisting patients with their medical and cosmetic concerns so they can feel confident in their skin. Alice believes that everyone deserves to live their best, healthiest, and happiest life. Alice is passionate about staying on the cutting edge of the latest dermatological treatments and cosmetic devices. In addition to routinely studying the latest research papers, Alice is a regular attendee of top national dermatological conferences and seminars. Outside of her work life, Alice loves fitness, interior design, traveling the world with her husband, and propagating her vast collection of soil-free houseplants to share with friends and family.
