The office visit just wasn’t what I expected. I had to repeat what was wrong or why I came in 4 different times to 4 different people. I came in for 3 reasons. Having to repeat that to 4 different times was aggravating! The doctors bedside manner was terrible. I’m going to be honest, I selected her because being an African American woman, I was looking for a doctor that looks like me and can understand my issues. She was unfriendly. And I get it, that’s not everyone’s strong point but dang, crack a smile, you are in my whohoo!! I didn’t leave feeling like this doctor cared.

The good side is: the office is clean, up to date and my nurse ( starts with "V" was nice and made eye contact in alleviating my anxiety during the pelvic exam unlike Dr. Alicia . However, I would not come back for Dr. Alicia, yes she is knowledgeable but she lack personality , I was not comfortable , she have not in anyway made rapport , or rather decreased my anxiety with the pain I had during the pelvic exam, she even reprimanded me and asked if the exam needs to be stopped. I just had my papsmear 3 wks ago with my NP and she was very nice and knows how to alleviate discomfort and engage with conversation. Dr . Alicia, was all throughout having flat affect, and feels like she doesn't like her job. I didn't have kids yet, and is eager to have one, I haven't heard any therapeutic communication from her even a sorry, or nice encouraging words. My first option was Dr. Lin but she was always fully booked. Just sharing my own experience ... ????

Dr. Sanders did not have pleasant bedside manners. I was a new patient, she came in the room and said she'll be doing my exam "any questions?" I mean she didn't invest any time with me so I didn't feel comfortable asking any questions. And it was my first time doing the exam as well, she didn't care to let me know what all this exam does & educate me a bit about it. Just nothing. I didn't like her. I will not be returning.

I came in for a check up and was shocked by the way Dr. Sanders’ reaction to me having multiple partners. In 2020, I’d never expect to feel shame from a doctor, much less an OBGYN. Quite disappointed and decided to leave this review even months after the visit.

Only waited a few minutes longer because the doctor (Dr Sanders) had to run over to hospital for possible delivery. I was totally OK with that. Wait times has always been in an appropriate timely manner.

One of my friends referred me to Dr. Sanders for my current pregnancy. She has been nothing short of amazing. I have several issues going on and I feel she is very thorough and great at explaining etc.

Absolutely loved Dr. Sanders! Great bedside manner and just amazing personality. She made me feel very comfortable and treated me like a friend which I really appreciated. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an OBGYN.
