“From the moment I walked in and checked in, it was a warm welcome from the lady at the front. From getting vitals checked by Ashley, and then finally meeting with Dr. Tanyi everyone was friendly. Dr. Tanyi listened to my concerns, and she was very informative on next steps and what I can expect from those next steps. I haven't seen a primary care doctor in years, but I will definitely be coming every year now. ”

About Dr. Susan Tanyi
Dr. Susan Tanyi is the Founding Partner and CEO of Ivy League Health. She is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician who has been practicing for over the course of more than a decade. She has served as a medical practice physician leader for several years and is always passionate about inspiring transformational change in healthcare.
As the physician leader for Ivy League Urgent and Primary Care, she is committed to five key principles: providing remarkable care experiences, providing cost-effective healthcare solutions, creating access to all, building better provider-patient and team relationships, and empowering others to live healthier, happier lives. Dr. Tanyi received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry, completed in 3-years and graduated with honors at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She obtained her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, graduating with honors. And completed her family medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
In her personal life, Dr. Tanyi was born in Lubbock TX to parents from Cameroon, West Africa and she spent 15-years of her childhood in Cameroon. Growing up in a third world country, she experienced first-hand the devastation of a broken health care system that has far too many shortfalls, which led to the unnecessary loss of many lives. This is what sparked her dream and passion to become a physician, who could bring transformational change in healthcare and empower the lives of others, especially those who are underprivileged.
