Alison has been a Physician Assistant for 13 years & has clinical experience in many areas of medicine including Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine & Neuroscience/Neurosurgery. Alison is originally from NY state, but has also lived & worked in CA, MA, FL, & London, UK. She takes a strong interest in her patient’s well being & ensures they feel safe & supported as they uncover their own inner healing, & assists them in navigating the landscape of psychedelic medicines. When she is not providing care to her patients, she enjoys staying active with yoga, skiing, hiking & enjoying the beauty of nature. She loves listening to a diverse range of music, traveling, & getting to know people & their cultures.
She is a MAPS trainee at Naropa University’s Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy & Research Certificate Program. In collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), & steeped in mindfulness & compassion training, Naropa’s Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies leverages the University’s contemplative & psychotherapeutic expertise to further expand the unprecedented transformative healing potential within this emerging field.
