Trying to manage eczema can be stressful at times. Actually I was overwhelmed and thought about not staying for the appointment; glad I didn't leave. After the visit I'm encouraged.
The nurse , in the examining room, was very informative and nice. Dr. Penton i'm at a loss for words. So i'll just say thank you very much. Thank you.

I was very pleased. She answered all of my questions, made me feel at ease (which is an accomplishment), and gave a thorough exam. Her confidence transfers to her patients.

Dr. Alison Trappey Penton was born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree in Science-Business from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, in 2005, and was a varsity cheerleader for the Fighting Irish. She returned to Louisiana to earn her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2009. She completed her training with an Internal Medicine internship and Dermatology residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans in 2014, and she currently serves as teaching staff for the LSU Dermatology Residency Program. Dr. Penton is married to Dr. Judson Penton, and they have two sons, Elias and Judson Penton. Dr. Penton enjoys all aspects of dermatology, including treating adult and pediatric patients, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology.

I was not satisfied with my daughter's visit with Dr. Penton. She was rushed and didn't really "look" at my daughter's face. She was very matter of fact. I wasn't too impressed with the girl who talked to us about skin care products either. She never once gave us prices or options.
