Dr. Alison Webb earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida in 2005. In 2009, Dr. Webb received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, graduating with honors.
Dr. Webb completed valuable externships, including one with a specialty pediatric and primary care practice in Wichita, Kansas and another with W. G. Bill Hefner Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina specializing in ocular disease and geriatrics. In 2010, Dr. Webb completed an intensive hospital-based ocular disease residency at the Louis B. Stokes Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She managed the treatment of patients with complicated or advanced glaucoma, as well as other ocular diseases. She is trained in the use and interpretation of advanced diagnostic devices. Dr. Webb completed advanced clinical rotations in contact lenses, pediatrics and binocular vision, low vision and geriatrics. She has also served as adjunct faculty at Ohio State University.
Dr. Webb is a licensed optometrist in Florida, Ohio, and West Virginia. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Florida Optometric Association. She is also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honorary.
In 2010, Dr. Webb returned to her native North Florida area to work in private practice with Drs. Lanier, Bowman and Associates.
