Dr Wells is one of the best psychriatrist I've interacted with. He's non-judgmental and knows the right questions to ask.
As always, Dr. Wells was interested in my state of mind, what was going on in my life and, generally, how I was feeling.
Very helpful and so easy to talk to. He really evaluates what you are going through and offers the best recommendations.
He's very easy to talk to, very knowledgable and excellent at diagnosing depression. He makes you feel very comfortable.
Very calming personality and was interested in what I had to say. Great doctor. And Sunday availability is just awesome.
Dr. Wells was incredibly understanding and listened attentively. He's very easy to talk to and I highly recommend him.
I'm very impressed with Dr. Wells. I would recommend him to my own children but they are not in need of such care.
Dr. Wells is a very friendly and nice person to talk to. He listens and cares for his patients. Highly recommend!
Very easy to talk to, asked good questions and put me at ease right away. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wells.
Saw me right away! Asked great follow up questions to prior visit. Was a quick and enlightening appointment.
Loved it, He is very helpful and understanding. He is willing to work with me, to really help me
Dr. Wells is everything a good psychiatrist should be. I can recommend him with no reservations.
Dr. Wells is friendly and professional. His treatment of me has been efficient and effective.
Considerate, calm, confidential - listened to my concerns and responded with good suggestions
Quick to prescribe lots of meds and keep you on them but doesn't assess needs or solutions.
Seriously almost cried when I thought he was leaving my network. Wonderful guy, love him!
He's extremely easy to talk to and very knowledgable. The perfect psychiatrist for me.
Really great! Very caring! Totally bummed he doesn't take my insurance anymore.
Dr. Wells was very pleasant & professional. I will be returning to his office.
He is very compassionate and patient. I couldn't imagine seeing anyone else.
He genuinely cares. This seems like such a simple thing, but it's a rarity.
Dr. Wells was personable, welcoming and listened closely without judgement.
Always pleasant and concerned. He's there to talk if you need to...or not.
Dr. Wells was super friendly, professional, and took me on a Sunday!
This was my second visit with Dr. Wells. I recommend him fully.
Dr. Wells is an amazing psychiatrist and person to work with.
Very knowledgable and a great listener before giving feed back
Dr. Wells is courteous, patient, and understanding. 5 stars
I thought he was professional, concise, and inquisitive.
Dr. Wells was very kind and patient. Would recommend.
Awesome, patient, pragmatic and highly supportive.
Dr. Wells was friendly, attentive, and efficient.
He definitely made me feel like a number rather than a patient. He asked for money up front and the visit was clearly about him long his pockets instead of helping me. Also, I got the impression he's used to working with people who may or may not actually have ADHD but are still there for prescriptions. As someone who's been taking ADHD meds nearly all my life, I was offended to be treated a bit like a drug addict. Needless to say, I WON'T be returning.
I highly recommend Dr. Wells.
great doctor with a great personality and a lot of knowledge. He is always a phone call away with quick response. I have been to many doctors in my time and I highly recommend him above all.
Very easy to talk to and personable.
I met with Dr. Wells several times to manage my medication for anxiety and depression. He was always extremely prompt and communicative, really insightful, and very careful with the process of changing my medication when it became necessary. I also found his manner extremely kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend him for psychiatric medication management.
Dr Wells was unable to give advice of any kind. He seemed to be on auto-pilot. When asked which - if any - ADHD medications would be safe during pregnancy (or for alternatives if none of them are) he spent 10 minutes literally googling the question while I sat in the room waiting. In the end, he wrote me a prescription which turned out not to be for the meds we'd discussed, but for the one's I'd specifically said hadn't worked in the past. I would not recommend him.
I adore Dr. Wells, he's thorough and easy to talk to. He is also never pushy with assigning drugs or tries to assign anything without a thorough investigation of your family history and health history. Adore him! I've sent my friends to him too!
He's so nice and attentive. Highly recommended.
Dr. Wells is not just a pill-pusher. He took the time to find out all about me - my past, present and future plans. He changed one of my medications and offered great advice going forward.
You can tell the he really cares about your well being. If I ever have an issue all I have to do is text him and he will make time to see me that day.
He was great, simply. He listened intently, asked me good/balanced questions and provided me with a plan of action to move forward. I'm far more satisfied than I thought I'd be to be frank. I highly recommend him.
Unlike other psychiatrists I've seen, Dr. Wells wasn't judgey at all. He was kind, patient and just listened. His space was warm and inviting. Highly recommend.
He was attentive. Good guy
My initial consultation with Dr. Wells put me at ease. He took the time to ask detailed questions that showed he had reviewed my patient history and was interested in my prior diagnoses. He had several useful suggestions for altering my treatment to improve my overall health and wellness. I will certainly continue to see Dr. Wells!
Allan Wells is very friendly person, but as a doctor he is pretty much only good for giving you drugs...his knowledge of how the mind actually works is extremely cookie-cutter textbook, and everything he told me I could have found out with a quick Google search. Some things he said don't even make human sense, for example that people typically get over grief and trauma within a year...try telling that to any rape victim, soldier, person who has lost a loved one. Not worth your time or money unless you know your solution is medication.
He appears very knowledgeable and professional.
Very attentive.
An amazing and knowledgable doctor who is also empathetic. He listens to the patient and is very honest about medications, treatments, and their side effects. He encourages patients to do their own research as well, which is quite unheard of in my experience. He urges for follow up and insist I contact him after 2 days of treatment. He truly cares about patients, and it's evident that he truly maintains professional integrity.
