Dr. Seifan is super friendly and welcoming. It is clear that he is very intelligent and passionate about his work. Unlike other physicians I have seen, Dr. Seifan takes the time to get to know you, tailor treatments to your needs, and also explain the neuroscience behind it all. Highly recommend.

Dr. Alon Seifan is a board-certified neurologist who completed fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology at the Columbia University Division of Aging and Dementia. He previously served on faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine and served in the role of Director of Research of the Alzheimer's Prevention Clinic. He received his MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
All patients not only benefit from Dr. Seifan's expert clinical care, but also from his ongoing research discoveries. Dr. Seifan is an expert in diagnosing and treating all basic Neurological and Psychiatric conditions simultaneously so that patients can feel completely better, with a minimum number of medications. His research focuses on the effect of treatments that improve whole brain connectivity, not only on mental health but also on medical health.

Dr. Seifan seems a concerned and compassionate physician. He listens to his patients and takes time to evaluate whether the prescribed medications are helping with (in this case) memory loss.

Dr. Seifan is terrific. Fabulous explanation - clearly explained the purpose of testing, the purpose of the study program and was extremely supportive and reassuring which is so important for a patient worried about her memory. His manner is exceptional in putting patients at ease and allowing the patient to use her best ability in response to questions. Kind and considerate and extremely intuitive.

Dr. Seifan gives a thorough analysis of laboratory work and risk indicators for developing Alzheimer's disease. He recommends lifestyle changes that have been shown to prevent changes that can lead to Alzheimer's. He is through but fast. One has to listen carefully.
