Her interest in dermatology stems from personal experience with skin cancer and a strong family history of the condition. Amanda also has a passion for aesthetics and has received advanced training in neuromodulators, dermal fillers and laser procedures. Her background includes experience in medical-surgical nursing, emergency care, urgent care and aesthetic nursing.
She completed Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program, an intensive clinical and academic training program that provides hands-on experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology under the supervision of experienced dermatology professionals.
Amanda is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse in the state of Illinois. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Nurses Association.
