About Emily Schnurstein
Emily Schnurstein, APN, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and quickly found her passion in dermatology, working in the specialty as a nurse for many years. During her time as a nurse in dermatology, Emily obtained a Master's degree in Nursing from Northern Illinois University, merging her knowledge and skills as a nurse with the ability to provide treatment to her patients. Emily sees patients of all ages with a variety of dermatologic conditions, including, but not limited to, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin cancer prevention. She also performs full skin exams, mole evaluations, and surgical procedures. Her goal is to collaborate with her patients to ensure thorough understanding of diagnoses and treatment plans. Emily maintains memberships with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and The Dermatology Nurses Association.

I went to this office for my first time today. The staff was friendly and informative. I enjoyed that they had updated technology to make the appointment process go smoothly. I saw Emily Schnurstein, NP for an exam. She’s polite, informative, and really took the time to examine my skin. She prescribed medication quickly and took the time to explain how they worked. During the appointment, I felt comfortable with her and the MAs who helped along the way. My needs were met and I look forward to my next appointment!
